5 EastEnders spoilers for next week
1. Jasmine Fisher is finally arrested following Anthony Trueman’s funeral

In Walford, just when things seem to be going smoothly, someone always pops up to cause trouble and change everything.
This week brings Anthony’s funeral, and Patrick Trueman is upset that his granddaughter, Jasmine, won’t be there. She’s been missing, but Kat receives a clue from Chrissie and is able to find her.
Kat had a difficult conversation with Jasmine, but she successfully persuaded her to support Patrick when he really needed it.

Oscar Branning was happy to see Jasmine and went upstairs to talk to her at The Vic. He was surprised to find Chrissie and Jake already there, clearly excited about Jasmine’s visit.
It’s a complete setup—Kat tricked her into coming. She gets scared right away and runs off, and everyone worries she won’t come back.
Haunted by guilt, Jasmine goes to get the murder weapon and tries to convince her grandmother to use it to blame Chrissie. However, her plan fails when the police arrive and arrest her. This leaves Oscar torn, as Jasmine strongly maintains her innocence.

Zoe was shocked to learn her daughter had been arrested for murder, and she wasn’t the only one. Patrick, who had recently welcomed her into his home, was also stunned and found the news incredibly difficult to accept.
How will the Slaters and Truemans cope with the latest stage of this saga?
2. Max Branning confesses his feelings for Linda Carter

The unexpected kiss has created a lot of tension between Max and Linda, and especially with Linda’s mother, Elaine Peacock. While it perhaps wasn’t the best idea, it seemed inevitable that something like this would happen.
Max attempts to mediate and help Elaine resolve her ongoing feud with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt). Their business rivalry has escalated in recent weeks and is now spiraling out of control.

He later tells his daughter, Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa), that he’s developed strong feelings for Linda and wants to see if they can have a real relationship.
Max and Lidna couldn’t resolve their issues unless Louie Beale, Max’s grandson, apologized to Ollie Carter, who Louie had been bullying.
Linda, impressed by Max’s kindness, asks him to get together for a drink to discuss how they’ll raise their daughter, Annie Carter (also known as Lois Hawkins). Could this be a positive step forward for Max and Linda’s relationship?
3. Kojo Asare is missing his independence, as Harry Mitchell and Gina Knight reconcile

Now that everyone knows Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) is pregnant with George Knight’s (Colin Salmon) baby, they’re planning a party at Harry’s Barn to find out if it’s a boy or a girl.
George’s plans hit a snag when his brother, Kojo, admits he’s feeling stifled and wants to move back into his previous apartment.
George is hesitant because of past problems with their living arrangement, but he’s convinced to give it another try when Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) decides to move back in and recommit to the situation.

When moving day arrives, the group heads out to celebrate with Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) and Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine). During the outing, Harry realizes he needs to mend things with his former girlfriend.
I was so relieved when Penny tried to get Gina and Harry to make up! She really encouraged them to talk things through, and it was amazing – they actually kissed! It felt like a huge step towards them getting back together, and I’m really hoping they can work things out.
Is their romance back on track?

4. Callum Highway and Johnny Carter are at loggerheads as divorce papers arrive from Ben Mitchell

Johnny Carter, played by Charlie Suff, is facing financial difficulties with his business and needs more investment. He’s meeting with his partner, Tim Walton (Tom Ratcliffe), to discuss options, and he’s also bringing along Callum, who’s currently unhappy about something, to the meeting.
I was really shocked when Tim asked me to help him with something totally illegal during our meeting. I couldn’t believe he’d even suggest it! I immediately walked out – it could have ruined my career, and honestly, it just wasn’t a risk I was willing to take.
When he and Johnny get back home, they discover divorce papers from Ben Mitchell, which leads to an argument. Overwhelmed, Callum asks him to leave.

Callum and Johnny are barely speaking after a disagreement about Tim’s request. Hoping to ease the tension, Callum offers to help Johnny find new investors, but Johnny worries this could spell disaster for his project.
Later that week, while tensions were still high, a friend of Ben’s unexpectedly arrived at Callum’s home with a worrying request.
Is Ben about to drive an even bigger wedge between Callum and Johnny?
5. Sam Mitchell prepares to say goodbye to Albert Square – will she go?

Sam is leaving Walford and returning to Spain, but before she goes, she checks in with Lily Slater to offer support on the anniversary of her father, Martin’s, death.
Sitting down to talk about the memorial is a deeply emotional experience, and Sam suddenly understands how important her family is to her.
Is Sam really ready to say goodbye to Walford?
