5 Emmerdale spoilers next week

1. Moira Dingle is arrested after Lydia Dingle is caught in her crossfire

Moira and Cain are boiling with anger when Joe Tate threatens to take their land, which belongs to Kim. (Ned Porteous is the actor playing Joe Tate.)

As Joe initiates his scheme, Moira assures Kyle (Huey Quinn) that their house won’t be forfeited. However, after her departure, Kyle detects a sound from the barn and encounters two disguised young individuals there.

In one instance, it’s Dylan who is involved, and due to his panic, Kyle unfortunately ends up stabbing Dylan in the leg with a pitchfork.

Moira intimidates the boys with a shotgun, while Cain firmly believes Joe is responsible for the incident and vows retaliation.

Moira initially intends to report the matter to the police first, but Joe refutes any participation, causing Moira’s anger to escalate, leading her to physically attack him instead.

But it’s Lydia (Karen Blick) who gets punched in the ear instead, leaving Moira horrified.

Later on, Kyle observes Officer Andy Moore apprehending Moira, and subsequently shares with her in private that her situation seems unfavorable in the legal perspective.

Cain is at loggerheads with Sam (James Hooton) after threatening Lydia over Moira’s actions.

But when Cain orders Sam to choose a side – the Tates or the Dingles – what will he decide?

2. John Sugden’s spyware digs up dirt on Robert Sugden

Robert is attempting to uncover the method by which John managed to rescue Jacob Gallagher (played by Joe-Warren Plant), however, when Jacob hastily departs, it is Eric Pollard (portrayed by Chris Chittell) who discloses that John has actually saved numerous villagers instead.

Robert, deep in thought, shares his suspicion with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) that John seems too perfect to be genuine. However, Chas firmly dismisses this idea.

Upon realizing that John had forgotten his phone, Robert attempted to unlock it, but was compelled to give it back to him once John returned.

As a movie enthusiast, I find myself troubled when expressing my worries to Charlie about Robert’s behavior, but Charlie seems to think that Robert might be feeling a little green-eyed due to jealousy.

In a different turn of phrase, Isabel Hodgins’ character, Victoria Sugden, attempts to persuade Robert to seek assistance, yet he resists. In this situation, Jonny McPherson’s character, John, consents to reach out to Liam Cavanagh (Liam in the story) to keep a watchful eye on him instead.

John then sneaks into Keeper’s cottage and leaves behind a small listening device.

Overhearing one of Robert’s talks, John feels energized as he hopes to uncover some secrets about Robert, yet, what are those secrets?

3. Mackenzie Boyd misses a big chance to speak out over surrogacy rift

Sarah and Charity are looking forward to their upcoming hospital visit, whereas Mack is busy working on Butler’s farm.

Mack communicates to Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) that he won’t be heading to the hospital, but Aaron implores him to voice his concerns instead.

Based on what he’s learned, Mack hastens to the fertility clinic, where Charity informs him that the process was successful.

As the family rejoices, Mack feels disappointed for having missed an opportunity to voice his emotions, and Aaron advises him to speak with Charity.

Charity is overwhelmed by Sarah and Jacob’s attentiveness and begs Sarah to go out.

Alone with Mack, Charity admits her concerns to Mack, but how will Mack respond?

4. Dylan returns – but trouble is brewing with villain Ray

As a passionate cinephile, I find myself in a dilemma when my brother, Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), proposes that I should reconsider April Windsor’s (Amelia Flanagan) apprenticeship offer.

When Belle tells April they can’t go ahead, April realises it’s Marlon’s doing and pleads her case.

Marlon relents and all is well, but the week takes a turn when April is reunited with Dylan.

Before he ends up in Moira’s barn, Dylan hides in some bushes and is spotted by April.

When she lays flowers at the grave of her mother Donna (Verity Rushworth), she senses his presence, and implores Dylan to reveal himself.

Dylan reveals he’s now clean from drugs, and April is thrilled.

However, following his encounter with Kyle, Dylan intends to rest at the cricket pavilion; unfortunately, he discovers that his wounded leg is causing him trouble instead.

April and Dylan plan a date, but he abandons the plans when he spots Ray.

Will April find out about Ray, and will Dylan get help for his wound?

5. Lewis Barton plays matchmaker between Ross Barton and Steph Miligan

Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) is impressed with Lewis building an app for the café.

As a movie buff, I find myself drawn into the captivating tale of Steph’s past relationship with Ross. Intriguingly, Steph confides that she often ponders what might have been if their journey hadn’t veered off course.

Lewis firmly decides on helping Steph and Ross rekindle their relationship. He motivates Ross to cease dwelling on the past and make an effort to win Steph’s heart again.

Will Ross go for it?

Well, with Steph set for a temporary exit in the coming weeks, it may not be likely…
