Paramount+ has a lot to offer streaming viewers. It’s a great place to find classic TV shows like I Love Lucy and The Twilight Zone, as well as popular Nickelodeon favorites such as Rocko’s Modern Life and Legends of the Hidden Temple.
Paramount+ has a huge and ever-growing number of shows – it’s impossible to keep up with everything! That’s why great series like Fellow Travelers sometimes get overlooked. Fortunately, it’s one of the many recent shows that deserves your attention.
5) School Spirits

School Spirits is a supernatural mystery where a teenage girl tries to figure out who killed her – even though she’s the one who’s dead. If you enjoy shows like Riverdale, you’ll probably like this one. It’s a teen drama with a lot of heart and a spooky twist: the main character is a ghost stuck haunting her high school, and she needs to uncover the truth about her own death.
This is a truly captivating young adult mystery series on Paramount+. With just two seasons out now, it’s already considered one of the platform’s best, and a third season is coming soon, giving fans something to anticipate after they finish watching!
4) Evil

Created by Robert and Michelle King – the team behind The Good Wife and its spin-offs – Evil is a unique show that recently concluded. The series follows three investigators hired by the Catholic Church to look into unexplained, potentially supernatural events, which frequently intersect with their own personal struggles.
The Sacramento Kings have a strong, ongoing partnership with CBS and Paramount+. When the show Evil first came out, it did well, and even horror author Stephen King campaigned for Paramount+ to bring it back in 2024. Despite this, many viewers either forgot about it or weren’t drawn in by its supernatural themes, making it a bit of a secret favorite now.
3) Bargain

Bargain is a standout international series on Paramount+. This Korean thriller centers around a devastating earthquake that leaves criminals, innocent people, and those involved in illegal organ trafficking trapped together. They must navigate the ruins of a collapsing building while also avoiding dangerous threats and fighting to survive.
This K-drama is fresh and creative, but unfortunately, Paramount+ doesn’t do much to advertise it in the US, meaning not many people realize it’s available. While it might be a little confusing for those new to Korean dramas, it’s definitely worth the watch.
2) Lawmen: Bass Reeves

While Lawmen: Bass Reeves is connected to the Yellowstone universe, it hasn’t received the same attention as shows like 1923 or 1885. What sets this series apart from other Yellowstone spinoffs is its focus on the story of a Black man – a perspective not yet explored within the franchise.
Bass Reeves was an incredible real-life figure. Born into slavery, he went on to become one of the first Black deputy U.S. marshals after the Civil War. The series tells the story of his life – from being enslaved to gaining his freedom – and his impressive career bringing over 30,000 criminals to justice, all while maintaining his principles and remarkably avoiding serious injury.
1) Fellow Travelers

Despite being one of the best historical LGBTQ+ shows out there, Fellow Travelers doesn’t get the attention it deserves. This thrilling series follows the decades-long, secret love story of two men, starting in the fearful McCarthy era and continuing through the AIDS crisis of the 1980s.
This show draws inspiration from actual events in LGBTQ+ history. It follows the developing relationship between two men, but they constantly face prejudice and danger throughout different time periods, forcing them to struggle for their survival. The series is also beautifully filmed, and actor Matt Bomer received critical acclaim, including an Emmy nomination and a Peabody Award win.
