Next week on Hollyoaks, Gemma Johnson (Tisha Merry) tries to help her struggling father, Donny Clark (Louis Emerick), by taking him on a nostalgic trip down memory lane, hoping it will lift his spirits.
Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi) is trying to rebuild trust after his actions over Christmas. He’s happy to see him cheerful while making a pizza – a specialty of Mick Johnson – for a reunion with his old friends, Tinhead (Philip Olivier) and Sinbad (Michael Starke), next week.
Tinhead is causing trouble for Sienna Blake, who believes he’s following her family. Meanwhile, Cleo and John Paul McQueen are facing some difficult times ahead.
Ste Hay unexpectedly runs into his son, Lucas, who presses him for details about his relationship with Dillon Ray.
Here’s what you can expect to see on Hollyoaks from Monday, January 19th to Wednesday, January 21st, 2026.
5 Hollyoaks spoilers for next week
1. Sienna Blake is suspicious of Tinhead

Sienna overheard someone near Jez’s garden plot and immediately worried they were targeting her family. She hurried home to tell them, but Liberty dismissed her concerns and suggested she talk to Cleo about what’s been bothering her instead.
As she left, she noticed a van that looked just like the one seen speeding away from the shed the night before – it belonged to Tinhead.
Is he responsible?

He’s quickly becoming comfortable and integrated into the Blakes’ lives, and later in the week, he even goes on a double date with Liberty, Dodger, and Theresa.
2. Cleo McQueen is struggling with baby Joseph

When Sienna reaches out, Cleo tells her that although she still loves her, she needs space.
Leela notices Cleo is having a hard time and invites her to join her and baby Clara at a new parent group, thinking it might help Cleo feel better to see other moms going through similar challenges. But when Joseph starts crying uncontrollably, Cleo gets very stressed.

3. Ant Hutchinson’s behaviour is a cause for concern for John Paul

Ant’s behavior gets increasingly out of control at school, leading John Paul to involve the police. The teenager becomes very upset when the officer, Smithy, suggests he might need to be taken to the police station.
Upset by the day’s events, JP decides to go to an addiction support group and shares with the others about the abusive relationship he experienced with a police officer.
4. Ste Hay is left alone with Lucas after Rex Gallagher’s intervention

Rex tries to reconcile with Lucas when Lucas tells him he’s moving to London. To buy time and encourage Lucas to make things right with his family, Rex secretly lets Lucas stay in the garage and tells everyone else Lucas has gone missing after being released from jail.
Even though Rex tried, Ste wasn’t ready to see his son and asked Rex to keep him hidden, wanting to accept the consequences of his actions in court. But later that week, Rex discovered Ste was in danger – he’d unexpectedly encountered Lucas.
Ste attempts to remain calm and divert the conversation, but Lucas is determined to find out about his father’s affair with Dillon. Meanwhile, Leela discovers troubling information in Lucas’s notepad, and joins Rex and Dillon in a search for answers.
5. Gemma Johnson hopes that a Brookside reunion is just the ticket for Donny Clark

Okay, so things are still really complicated between Misbah and Donny. He’s still hiding that he used to be Mick Johnson from Brookside, and it’s keeping them apart. Honestly, Misbah confessed she only played along with things to try and get him to come back home, which is a bit manipulative, I guess. But the really heartbreaking part is Gemma and Vicky – they’re still completely devoted to their dad and just won’t give up on him, even with all this drama.
Everyone understands the events in Liverpool are still deeply upsetting and urges him to talk to Superintendent Singh. Dodger tries to help too, noticing he’s turned to alcohol to cope.
It’s been rough watching Donny fall apart. He’s been really lashing out, and Dodger stepped in to remind him they’ve both experienced similar pain. It felt really powerful because Dodger made it clear he gets it – he’s the only one who truly understands what Donny’s going through.

Gemma wants to cheer up her dad, so she brings his friends Mibsh and Vicky to meet Sinbad. Together, they hatch a plan to surprise Donny with a special dinner at Casa McQueen.
Donny appreciated the kind act, and after finding Tinhead and Sinbad again, he made one of his signature pizzas, just like he used to at Pizza Parade. Vicky was really impressed with her dad’s cooking.
Hollyoaks is available to watch on catch-up on Channel 4 and airs Monday to Wednesday on E4.
