Plus, there are tons of short anime available, and they generally have well-focused stories and move at a quicker pace.

Long anime series can be really rewarding, even if they seem a little overwhelming. Starting out, a show like One Piece might feel too big, and older favorites like Naruto could seem slow or a bit dated. But there are still plenty of options for newcomers who want to try a longer series – some have many episodes without being too intimidating.
