Okay, so as a huge Marvel fan, I gotta say Deadpool – Wade Wilson – is one of the most entertaining characters they’ve got. He’s this crazy, violent anti-hero who’s hilarious because he knows he’s in a comic book, constantly breaking the fourth wall and dropping seriously inappropriate jokes. But honestly, sometimes his humor goes way too far. He’s genuinely unhinged, and while killing bad guys is what anti-heroes do, Deadpool has also tortured and even murdered innocent people. And the worst part? He usually just brushes it off like it’s no big deal, or even makes a joke about it! He might occasionally show a flicker of remorse, but mostly he treats these awful things as just another punchline. It’s a little unsettling, even for a character who’s supposed to be the ‘bad guy who’s good.’
Okay, let’s be real – Deadpool’s done some seriously messed up things. I mean, the guy’s a former mercenary and assassin, and he’s racked up a long list of awful deeds. Honestly, if real life worked like the movies, he’d be spending the rest of his days behind bars, no question.
5) Using His Daughter as Bait

Deadpool is known for being unstable, violent, and self-centered, so it’s no surprise he’s not a great father. However, his actions towards his daughter, Ellie, were truly awful. When the villain Madcap was using Deadpool’s identity to commit crimes, Deadpool deliberately put Ellie in harm’s way as a trap. A bullet nearly hit her during the fight, but Quicksilver saved her at the last moment. Even though Ellie forgave him, it doesn’t justify how carelessly Deadpool risked her life.
4) Imprisoning and Abusing Blind Al

The Deadpool movies show a quirky but affectionate friendship between Deadpool and his roommate, Blind Al. However, the comics present a much darker relationship. There, Blind Al isn’t a roommate, but a prisoner Deadpool regularly bullies, forcing her to do housework and threatening her with torture. He even has a torture room where he punishes her for attempting to escape, and will harm anyone who tries to help her. While Blind Al often seems unbothered, Deadpool’s imprisonment and abuse of an elderly, blind woman is deeply disturbing.
3) Killing an Innocent Woman

When the villain Styfe kidnapped Ellie, he forced Deadpool into a terrible situation: killing four people. Three of them managed to survive thanks to tricks like time travel, partly because they had connections to Deadpool. However, the fourth victim, Marrietta Nelson, was a random stranger and wasn’t so fortunate. Deadpool went to her bedroom to explain he was going to kill her, revealing he’d already given her a painless, fatal poison while she slept. She died shortly after. Unlike other heroes who would have tried to save both Marrietta and Ellie, Deadpool chose the simplest option and killed an innocent woman.
2) Working for Hydra Captain America and Killing Phil Coulson

The Secret Empire comic book arc sparked a lot of debate because it featured a Captain America who was secretly an evil version from another universe and the leader of Hydra. This villainous Captain America enlisted Deadpool to help him take over the world. Deadpool, a longtime fan of Captain America, was easily tricked because he admired the hero so much. Even though Deadpool didn’t realize this Captain America was an imposter, he immediately agreed to hunt down and kill Phil Coulson, a respected S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Driven by his unwavering loyalty, Deadpool carried out the order, tragically murdering a heroic figure. Ultimately, even without meaning to, Deadpool helped Hydra Captain America move closer to his goal of world domination.
1) Slaughtering the Entire Marvel Universe

The popular Deadpool story arc, Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, lives up to its shocking title. In an alternate reality, Deadpool discovers he and everyone around him are fictional characters, leading him to believe the lives of other heroes are without meaning. Driven by this realization, he embarks on a violent rampage, systematically killing Marvel’s heroes. The story details gruesome acts – shooting Spider-Man, beheading Hulk in his human form, driving Professor X mad, and even murdering the young team, Power Pack. Ultimately, Deadpool succeeds in killing every superhero in the Marvel universe. Each issue escalates the violence, showing the consequences of Deadpool completely abandoning his already questionable morals.
