Peacock is a surprisingly good streaming service, especially when it comes to its original shows. Whether you enjoy funny comedies or exciting competition shows, you’ll find something to like. While it doesn’t have as many titles as Netflix or Disney+, Peacock focuses on quality, and most of its shows are well-made and enjoyable.
It’s easy to forget Peacock hasn’t even been around for six years, and it actually started during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the streaming service has released a lot of shows and movies, with plenty more planned for 2026. If you’re trying to make the most of your subscription or just can’t decide what to watch, these original series and films are some of the best options available on Peacock.
The Copenhagen Test Is a Complex Spy Thriller
Premiering on December 27, 2025, The Copenhagen Test is a new series now streaming on Peacock. It follows Hale, an intelligence analyst who discovers someone is hacking into his brain. He urgently tries to uncover the hacker’s identity and motives while also fighting to convince his workplace, the Orphanage, that he can still be trusted.
With only eight episodes, The Copenhagen Test is a quick, weekend-worthy watch. This psychological thriller is both original and gripping, unfolding at a pace that allows you to fully absorb the story. The entire cast delivers strong performances, but Liu truly shines as Hale, giving a particularly nuanced and compelling portrayal.
Rutherford Falls Is an Underappreciated Sitcom
Rutherford Falls is a surprisingly rich show, especially considering its short run of 18 episodes. It centers on the friendship between Nathan Rutherford (Ed Helms) and Reagan Wells (Jana Schmieding), who find themselves at odds over a local statue. Nathan is determined to preserve the statue due to his family’s history with the town, while Reagan focuses on improving the lives of people in the Minishonka Nation.
Rutherford Falls is a funny and heartwarming sitcom available on Peacock that deserves more attention, especially given the success of The Office on the same platform. The show balances humor with genuinely emotional and sometimes difficult themes, offering both laughs and tearful moments. What really sets it apart is its authentic portrayal of Native Americans, giving Indigenous actors the opportunity to play complex, well-developed characters instead of relying on stereotypes.
All Her Fault Is a Gripping Mystery Thriller
The new show is based on Andrea Mara’s 2021 book and premiered on November 6, 2025. It centers around the disappearance of five-year-old Milo Irvine (played by Duke McCloud). Milo goes missing after his mother, Marissa (Sarah Snook), leaves him with a friend for a playdate. As the investigation unfolds and relationships are revealed, the story expands to explore deeper issues and conflicts.
The thriller series All Her Fault is a standout thanks to its consistently suspenseful and captivating atmosphere. While centered around Milo’s disappearance, the show also explores important issues like the gap between rich and poor and the power structures of patriarchy, culminating in a truly shocking and unforgettable finale.
The Traitors Is a Thought-Provoking Reality Series
Based on the popular Dutch show De Verraders, the American version, hosted by Alan Cumming, pits celebrities against each other. Players are secretly divided into ‘Traitors’ and ‘Faithfuls’ and compete to win a grand prize by eliminating each other until only one person remains.
Season 4 of The Traitors started airing on January 8, 2026, and features well-known faces like Dorinda Medley from The Real Housewives, Monét X Change from RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Colton Underwood from The Bachelor. The show is a hit because of its engaging host, popular celebrity contestants, and fun competitions. It’s always captivating to watch the players try to figure out who the ‘Traitors’ are within their group.
Twisted Metal Is a Pretty Faithful Video Game Adaptation
I’m so excited about this new show! It’s based on the awesome ‘Days Gone’ video game. It follows a delivery guy named John Doe, played by Anthony Mackie, who’s trying to get a super important package across a broken America after some kind of disaster. He’s hoping to find a better life, and he meets a lot of interesting people along the way. Apparently, in the second season, things get really wild with a demolition derby! It’s a post-apocalyptic comedy, so it sounds like it’s going to be a fun ride.
Despite being a well-made show, Twisted Metal hasn’t gotten the same attention as other series on Peacock. It’s a surprisingly grounded show, which is a nice change of pace, and features characters you’ll remember, impressive visuals, and a lot of dark humor. What really makes it stand out, though, is that it doesn’t try to be serious – it embraces its over-the-top nature while still delivering quality entertainment.
Love Island USA Is a Fantastic Hot Mess
Love Island USA is a reality TV show from Peacock, and it’s separate from the original British version of the same name. Currently hosted by Ariana Madix (known from Vanderpump Rules), the show follows singles (“Islanders”) as they look for love and try to win over the audience for a $100,000 prize. A key rule of the competition is that Islanders must be coupled up with another contestant to avoid elimination.
The Love Island series is consistently entertaining, but Love Island USA really takes it to the next level. While the main goal is finding love, many contestants will try to game the system to stay on the show. Each season is full of suspense, drama, tears, and laughter – it has everything you could want in a reality TV show!
