Next week, Abi Webster, played by Sally Carman-Duttine, succumbs to temptation with her brother-in-law Carl Webster, portrayed by Jonathan Howard. This decision, which has been building tension for weeks, is instigated by Kevin Webster’s (Michael Le Vell) actions!
In another setting, Lisa Swain, alias Vicky Myers, once more jeopardizes her employment for the sake of unearthing the truth – oblivious to the fact that her colleague Carla Connor, played by Alison King, is also engaged in a separate investigation.
As a dedicated moviegoer, I can’t help but feel uneasy about Todd Grimshaw (played by Gareth Pierce). Every passing day, his partner Theo Silverton (portrayed by James Cartwright) seems to be growing increasingly menacing.
Furthermore, Sam Blakeman (played by Jude Riordan) confronts his cunning relative, Lily Platt (portrayed by Grace Ashcroft-Gardner).
In simpler terms, Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) and Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) are concerned that their plan might get exposed, and we wonder what lies ahead for James Bailey (Jason Callender).
Here are all your Coronation Street spoilers for Monday 28th July – Friday 1 August 2025.
6 Coronation Street spoilers next week
1. Abi Webster starts an affair with Carl Webster

In a different wording, Abi scolds Carl for creating problems, but he struggles to disclose to her that Kevin is actually deceiving about having cancer.
However, under pressure, Abi confides in Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) that she intends to inform their son Jack (Kyran Bowes) about Kev’s unresponsive treatment. In response, Tyrone reassures her, suggesting that Kevin is actually in good health.

In a turn of events, Abi challenges Kevin, who then offers an apology and confesses that he resorted to fabricating the truth about having cancer, hoping it would prevent her from choosing Carl over him.
Abi can’t bear to look at Kev, leaving the house and heading straight into Carl’s arms.
It seems that Abi has made up her mind about being finished with Kevin, yet their fiery kiss with Carl suggests her choice might not be final.

Shortly, Abi will put on a smile for Jack’s benefit, while Carl firmly asserts that Abi is making the correct decision by staying with Kevin, hence it would be wise for them to maintain some space.
Kevin dismisses Carl, expressing his lack of faith in him further, and Carl consents to begin anew somewhere else.
Or simply:
Kevin fires Carl, citing loss of trust, and Carl decides to start afresh elsewhere.

When Kev informs Abi about something, she secretly feels disappointed, and Debbie Webster (played by Sue Devaney) attempts to persuade Carl to remain.
This version maintains the original meaning while using more natural and easily readable language. The use of “informs” instead of “updates” and “persuades” instead of “tries to convince” makes the sentence smoother and easier to understand.
What will he do, and is this really the end of his affair with Abi?
2. Lisa Swain goes rogue as Carla Connor makes a secret prison visit

Lisa confesses that she missed her therapy appointment yesterday, choosing instead to pay a visit to her late wife Becky’s grave, as tomorrow marks the anniversary of their relationship.
On that particular day, I found myself grappling with challenges, yet chose to brush aside Sydney Martin’s concerns shared by Carla and Betsy. Instead, I decided to seek therapeutic help, which ultimately led to a significant breakthrough in my journey.

Lisa expresses her suspicion to therapist Floyd that perhaps Becky’s death holds deeper mysteries and if Becky might have been involved in wrongdoing.
Afterward, Lisa clandestinely enters DI Costello’s office, intending to scan his emails for mentions of Becky Swain. However, Lisa becomes enraged upon noticing that Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is the one requesting access to Becky’s file.

Intriguingly, I find myself slipping into the shadows and making my way to a cell within this cold, imposing structure – a place where Logan Radcliffe, played by the enigmatic Harry Lowbridge, now resides. My intentions are clear: to glean any insight regarding Becky that he may possess, even if it means treading on treacherous ground.
It seems likely that if Lisa reveals she can’t collaborate with Kit because he acted dishonestly towards her, Carla might acknowledge if she too has been untruthful in her dealings.
3. Theo Silverton turns manipulator after violent attack

In my critique, I find myself regretting Todd and Theo’s ill-fated journey to inspect a potential new dwelling. Alas, an unfortunate incident involving our duo and a malfunctioning vehicle has thrown a wrench in their plans. Yet, it seems that this mishap pales in comparison to the troubles that lie ahead for our intrepid pair.
Todd unwillingly participates in a reparative justice meeting with Noah Hedley (Richard Winsor). However, once the session ends, he hastily departs, growing weary of Noah’s persistent provocation.
Without his coat, Todd arrives just in time to overhear Noah talking on the phone with Danielle Silverton, who is Theo’s former spouse. He understands that they have resumed their relationship.

When Danielle showed up at the Bistro with her children, Todd confided in Theo that Noah was now Danielle’s romantic partner.
In an attempt to hit Todd, Theo’s boy Miles lunges a punch instead, but as Theo interferes, he ends up unintentionally striking Miles. This action leaves Theo in a state of shock.

Daniel Brocklebank’s character, Billy Mayhew, suggests that Todd should make an effort to reconcile with Danielle, as she’s currently keeping Theo away from the children due to a disagreement.
Todd urges Danielle to reconsider her stance, however, Theo is enraged because Todd has been heeding Billy’s advice instead of Theo’s counsel regarding his own issues.

When Billy arrives to apologize, Theo responds frostily and pretends Todd is taking a shower.
But as Todd emerges, oblivious to Theo’s lies, where is this storyline going for Todd?
4. Sam Blakeman takes revenge on cousin Lily Platt

Lily and Sam participate in the Ecology club, and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Toyah Habeeb (Georgia Taylor) are happy to learn that the two seem to have resolved their disagreement following an incident where Lily kept Sam out of a classroom during a distressing day at school.
However, Sam laughs off Lily’s poster and informs her that six burglaries have occurred in the neighborhood recently. The culprits are known for rearranging the furniture.
Or:
But Sam dismisses Lily’s poster, sharing with her a piece of information – that there had been six burglaries around their area, and these thieves were notorious for moving furniture around.
Upon arriving home, Lily discovers the front door slightly open, which causes her to shriek in fright upon noticing that the household furniture has been rearranged.
Is this Sam’s doing?
By the end of the week, Sam opens up to Toyah about his anxiety and panic attacks.
Will Sam be able to overcome his trauma?
5. Bernie Winter and Aadi Alahan’s plan is foiled

Dev Alahan (played by Jimmi Harkishin) discloses that Auntie Rani will be attending the wedding, and she intends for her funds to be utilized wisely.
It appears that Bernie and Aadi are concealing something crucial from Dev; it turns out that Aadi orchestrated the fake burglary of the store so he could collect insurance money since the company was struggling financially.

Worse still, Aadi missed the insurance payments, so they won’t be getting the money!
It appears that Bernie and Aadi are aiming to apply Aunty Rani’s donation towards addressing the wedding expenses, in an effort to minimize their overall costs.

Unaware Dev invites Aadi to stand as his best man, but his spirits shift upon the unexpected early arrival of Rani.
In an attempt to win over Rani with a fancy accent, Bernie finds himself in a state of renewed anxiety as Rani lays out her plan for monitoring the wedding costs, causing both Bernie and Aadi to become alarmed.
What will they do next?
6. Will James Bailey exit with baby Laila amid Dee-Dee clash?

In simple terms, the facilitator is present for the discussion regarding the Special Guardianship Order for infant Laila, yet James is concerned that the potentially conflicting Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) might not attend the meeting.
The next morning, Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) sits the family down to clear the air.
While looking after Laila, James takes a call and confirms he’s still interested in a job.
Is he about to leave, and will he be taking Laila with him?
Soon, we see Dee-Dee head to work, leaving Laila in James’s capable hands.
In my interaction, I encountered a fresh face named Ollie, who I later discovered was the gentleman I had a recent flirtatious exchange with.
Dee-Dee can’t help smiling, but has Laila’s future been decided?
And will James be sticking around?
