6 Coronation Street spoilers next week: Todd Grimshaw prepares to leave Theo Silverton

Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) is set to end his relationship with the controlling and abusive Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) in a dramatic week on Coronation Street.

Debbie Webster gets stressed out at a hotel conference, Shona Platt investigates who Roy Cropper has been writing to, and Dee-Dee Bailey ends her relationship.

I’m really feeling for Will Driscoll right now – Lucas Hodgson-Wale is doing a great job showing how upset he is with Daniel Osbourne. And it looks like Becky Swain is heading to the hospital to see DI Costello – Amy Cudden is always fantastic in her role, so I’m curious to see what happens!

Here’s a look at everything happening between Monday 1st and Thursday 5th December.

6 Coronation Street spoilers for next week

1. Debbie Webster makes a huge announcement during a business meeting

I just watched a sweet little scene where Debbie’s understandably anxious about giving a speech to a group of businesswomen. Luckily, Carl steps in and tells her it’s perfectly okay to read from her notes, which is a really nice moment of support. It felt very relatable – we’ve all been there, right? It’s a small thing, but it really humanized both characters.

As the event begins, he asks her for her login information, explaining he needs it to pay the staff. She tells him to check her notebook, then goes on stage to give her presentation. While flustered, she realizes she’s forgotten the password for her iPad and can’t access her notes.

Instead, she chooses to deliver a moving speech about her dementia diagnosis, explaining what it means for her future and emphasizing her determination to keep fighting.

2. Todd Grimshaw decides to leave Theo Silverton

Theo tells Todd to stay out of sight because his injuries might make people jump to the wrong conclusions. Summer is puzzled when Todd cancels their plans, and Theo pretends to believe Todd’s story about going to London.

Todd is getting antsy cooped up inside and looks out the window, quickly ducking out of sight when Summer notices him. She worries someone might be breaking in, and Theo gets concerned when Gary and Ben demand to join him in investigating.

Dev also heard about what happened and stopped by to check on things. Todd came out of the shower and explained he’d just returned from the capital city and injured himself while out drinking.

I noticed Theo gave Todd a fitness tracker afterwards, and, honestly, it felt a little awkward. Theo was all about getting him to keep up with his training, even suggesting a 10k race. But you could just see Todd’s heart drop – he really wasn’t into it at all. He just didn’t seem excited about the idea, and it was kind of sad to watch.

Christina notices Todd looking tired and invites him in for a cup of tea. Will he finally confide in her about what’s bothering him?

The following day, Theo showed Todd the exercise bike he’d gotten him, but Billy and Summer spotted a cut on his face and didn’t believe his story about getting hurt in London.

Danielle’s announcement that she’s taking the children to Tenerife for Christmas leads Theo to angrily accuse Todd of influencing her. Reaching his breaking point, Todd declares he’s leaving, prompting a visibly enraged Theo to begin hitting himself.

3. Shona Platt is suspicious of Roy Cropper’s secret pen pal

I just saw a scene that really got under my skin. We’re in this bustling little cafe, and you can feel the tension building around Nina’s uncle, Roy. She confides in Shona that he got a letter earlier, and honestly, it seemed to really shake him up. You immediately know something’s not right, and the performance is subtle but effective in showing his growing unease. It’s a small moment, but it sets a really intriguing mood.

Shona is determined to uncover the truth, so she secretly goes through his mail. But what will happen when he finds out what she’s been up to?

4. Becky Swain tries to kill DI Costello

Lisa attempts to persuade Carla that she is the person Carla should choose, despite Carla’s doubts. Later, Lisa meets with Becky to share news about a possible suspect in the Costello attack – a man known as Soap.

Becky initially claims she doesn’t know the person in question, but she later meets with Soap to collect both a disposable phone and Costello’s regular phone. As they’re meeting, police sirens are heard in the distance…

The following day, Lisa learned that Costello was waking up from his coma. Enraged, she rushed to his side, determined to kill him before he fully regained consciousness. But Lisa is running out of time…

Kit informed Carla that he suspects Becky had something to do with the attack on Costello, but he can’t take action without proof.

Becky is keeping vigil at the hospital, talking to the patient’s daughter while secretly trying to remember his iPad password. However, when Kit finds Costello’s phone, Becky’s plan might be discovered.

5. Will Driscoll is furious when Daniel Osbourne steals his girlfriend

I was so excited for Megan when she told me she’d applied to Weathy High! And things got even more interesting when she mentioned she had an interview – Daniel, clearly pleased, used the opportunity to finally ask her out. It was a really cute moment, honestly!

She agreed to his proposal, which made Will very angry. Liam then started asking his new friend about his past in Hull and if he was seeing anyone. Will got upset by the questions, and Maria had to intervene when she saw the two men starting to argue.

Megan finds out she got the job while at the Rovers, and Daniel celebrates with a kiss that quickly turns passionate. Sadly, Will sees everything, and is devastated.

6. Dee-Dee Bailey makes a big decision

It looks like Dee-Dee will end things with Ollie next week, starting with declining to make Christmas plans. This upsets him, but he’s even more heartbroken when she officially breaks up with him.

Maggie offers to have a word with her, as she confides some big news in Alya.

Will Dee-Dee leave before Christmas?
