6 Coronation Street spoilers next week
1. Lauren Bolton’s baby emergency and will Joel Deering be found out?
As a seasoned relationship advisor with years of experience observing couples navigate the complexities of love and finances, I’ve seen firsthand how unexpected expenses can put a strain on even the strongest bonds. When Joel, a loving father, shares with his fiancée Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) that his divorce is proving to be financially draining, I can’t help but feel for him. The added pressure of managing both the wedding expenses and the costs associated with his divorce must be overwhelming.
Later on, Lauren sends a text to Joel warning him about a water leak at her apartment. As a result, Joel has to bring Maeve with him to handle the situation since Dee-Dee has a court appearance coming up. Outside the corner shop where their flat is located, Dee-Dee receives a package delivery. She anticipates it’s a present from Joel but is perplexed when she reads the label, which is addressed to “E Smith”.
At the police station, Joel is disturbed by a voice message from Dee-Dee, who reveals she’s stopped his delivery. Later, Joel assures Lauren that they’ll be relocating to Ireland imminently. Subsequently, Joel pledges to Dee-Dee that she’ll have all of his focus in the future.
At the precinct, Lauren gets robbed and Max Turner (played by Paddy Bever) consoles her. Later, Joel seems worried about Lauren but secretly plans to eliminate her permanently. Alone, Lauren experiences intense abdominal pain and grabs her stomach. Max eventually locates her at her apartment and pounds on the door. Frightened, Lauren voices her fear of miscarrying her baby.
Will she get the help she needs? And is Joel set to be rumbled after Dee-Dee’s discovery?
2. Blast from the past for Fiz and Tyrone Dobbs
At the café, I overheard Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) and Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) sharing some troubling news. They informed Fiz that the head of a human trafficking ring in Romania is going to stand trial, and there’s a possibility that Alina could be summoned as a witness. Later on, I tried to share my excitement with Tyrone about this cheap holiday deal I found for Fiz, but his response was far from enthusiastic.
I’ve worked with my fair share of complex storylines in soap operas, and this one involving Tyrone (Alan Halsall) leaving Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) for Alina (Natalie Anderson), while dealing with Hope’s (Isabella Flanagan) challenging behavior and his own feelings for Fiz, was particularly intriguing. The twist of Alina having a pregnancy scare added even more tension to the situation. It was a rollercoaster ride for the viewers as they watched Tyrone navigate through these relationships while dealing with unexpected turns.
Despite asserting that she wasn’t planning on having another child, Alina went back to Romania – though there were strong indications that she was carrying Tyrone’s child in secrecy. Is it possible that Alina will bring Tyrone’s hidden baby with her?
3. Paul Foreman’s donation decision
Paul queries trainee paramedic Asha Alahan (portrayed by Tanisha Gorey) regarding cornea donation, yet Bernie Winter (acted by Jane Hazlegrove) expresses her displeasure.
A special episode of Coronation Street is coming up, featuring a day in Paul’s life as his motor neurone disease progresses and causes more damage to his speech.
As Paul carries on with his final arrangements, how will his spouse Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) and sister Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) cope with the upcoming events?

4. Rowan Cunliffe blackmails Nick Tilsley – again!
In my perspective as a movie reviewer, when Amy Barlow, played by Elle Mulveney, is about to leave for her Institute retreat, Rowan expresses his belief that she’s on the brink of achieving great things. This prediction leaves Leanne Battersby, portrayed by Jane Danson, feeling envious.
She’s unaware that Rowan is currently confiding in Nick, revealing that instead of turning him in for assault, Rowan is asking for the £20k investment that Nick had previously promised.
Additionally, Nick is facing more pressure from Rowan due to his past relationship with Toyah, Leanne’s stepsister (played by Georgia Taylor). Will Nick give in?
5. Is Abi Webster guilty of arson?
Stefan Brent (played by Paul Opacic) calls Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) for a discussion aimed at resolving their ongoing conflict. However, during this call, Kevin is absent, and Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) answers the door instead, unaware of Stefan’s identity, and allows him to enter and wait inside while the parents are away from home.
Afterward, Abi discovers Kev engrossed in a live news feed about a fire in Stefan’s workplace, and she comments with a smirk that he deserved it. This raises doubts about Abi’s involvement, but just what was Stefan doing at the Websters’ place?
DS Lisa Swain brings Abi and Kevin in for interrogation regarding the fire incident. She presents proof from the doorbell camera showing Abi’s presence at Stefan’s residence.
A: Abi feels disappointed that Kevin shares her suspicion; could there be another reason for this incident? (regarding Abi’s emotional state about being suspected)
6. Will Beth Tinker’s scam be exposed?
Beth hands an envelope packed with money to her son Craig (Colson Smith) and requests him to conceal it for her. She intends to surprise Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment) with something exceptional.
At the factory, Beth hands over Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin)’s earnings for the initial batch of t-shirts to her. Meanwhile, Kirk’s sister Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) learns about Beth’s intention to surprise Kirk with a wedding.
Beth leafs though a magazine, expressing her disappointment over the high cost of wedding locations. Betsy proposes they should put in extra effort with side jobs, but their week takes an unexpected turn when Beth discovers the missing box of fake T-shirts.
Does Beth have a chance to locate the item before her boss, Carla, discovers her scheme, as Kirk has admitted to transporting it on the delivery vehicle?
