68 Years Later, Jujutsu Kaisen’s Sequel Finally Unveils Yuji’s Domain Expansion

Be warned, this article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga! The current arc, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, is nearing its climax as the battle between the sorcerers and the Simurians rages on. After Cross’s death, the Simurians are determined to fight, demanding the sorcerers stop eliminating cursed spirits. However, the sorcerers must control the number of curses to protect the people of Tokyo, meaning they can’t simply stop fighting. With no compromise in sight, Dabura has challenged a sorcerer to a duel.

Yuka Okkotsu offered to represent Earth and sacrifice herself because she was nearing the end of her life due to illness. During the conflict, Yuji Itadori, the main character, suddenly appears and surprises everyone with his incredible strength. Ever since his fight with Ryomen Sukuna, Yuji hasn’t aged, and his powers have grown significantly over time. In the manga’s 21st chapter, he encounters his arch-rival, Mahito, in a spiritual realm. Their confrontation continues in Chapter 22, where Yuji reveals the frightening power of his Domain Expansion.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Reveals How Powerful Yuji’s Domain Expansion Is

I remember when Yuji finally unleashed his Domain Expansion – it happened near the very end of the story, but we didn’t get a clear explanation of what it actually does. It was fascinating because the effect seemed to pull Sukuna back into his own memories, and Yuji was clearly trying to figure him out. Unfortunately, the story wrapped up pretty quickly after that, leaving us all wondering about the full extent of Yuji’s strongest ability.

Domain Expansion is considered the highest level of Jujutsu sorcery because it can dramatically change the outcome of a fight. Although Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo doesn’t name specific techniques, it demonstrates just how frightening this ability is. Characters like Mahito are incredibly powerful and can activate their Domain Expansion in just 0.2 seconds. Satoru Gojo is even faster, and Ryomen Sukuna is the quickest of all.

Okay, so the latest chapter was insane! Yuji was seriously moving faster than Mahito, and honestly, it felt like he was on the same level as powerhouses like Gojo and even Sukuna! It’s wild to think he took down Mahito so easily – the same guy who nearly crushed him during the Shibuya Incident! And his Domain Expansion? It’s like a different version of Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine, even though it looks totally different. Basically, both domains just slice you to pieces, and Mahito didn’t even have time to react before it happened. It was over before he knew it!
