Now that Halloween is over and November is here, the days are getting shorter and the weather is turning colder. It’s the ideal time to relax and watch a lot of TV! We’re not quite into the full holiday season yet, though. While a few Christmas shows are starting to appear, we’re in that comfortable space between Halloween and Christmas – perfect for settling in with a new series.
Prime Video has plenty of excellent shows to choose from! Whether you’re into new series, original content, or classic favorites, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this November. Here are seven shows you won’t want to miss.
7) Bat-Fam

If you’re excited about Merry Little Batman, you’ll be happy to know a follow-up series, Bat-Fam, is coming to Prime Video on November 10th! This animated series shows what life is like for Bruce Wayne (Batman), his son Damian (Little Batman), and Alfred Pennyworth, both at home and while protecting Gotham City. Expect some new faces at Wayne Manor, including a few supervillains, as they juggle family life and crime-fighting.
All ten episodes of the series will be available to stream on Prime Video starting November 10th. It’s a great choice for family viewing, especially with Thanksgiving just around the corner.
6) Maxton Hall — The World Between Us

If you enjoyed romantic dramas like The Summer I Turned Pretty, We Were Liars, and Daisy Jones & The Six, Prime Video has a new show for you: Maxton Hall — The World Between Us. And great news – the first three episodes of season two are available now, giving you two full seasons to watch!
Based on the bestselling German book series by Mona Kasten, Maxton Hall — The World Between Us has quickly become a popular show, earning praise from both viewers and critics. It’s actually Prime Video’s most successful original series launch outside of the United States. The story centers around Ruby, who accidentally discovers a shocking secret at the exclusive Maxton Hall boarding school. This puts her in the sights of James Beaufort, a wealthy and powerful student who will do anything to keep the secret hidden. Despite their initial conflict, a surprising connection begins to form between them.
5) The Girlfriend

Okay, if you’re like me and love a good psychological thriller, especially now that the nights are getting longer, you have to check out The Girlfriend. It stars Olivia Cooke, who I loved in House of the Dragon, along with Robin Wright and Laurie Davidson. It’s a really twisted story about a mom, her son, and his new girlfriend. Basically, this mom, Laura (played by Robin Wright), seems to have a perfect life, but she gets really suspicious of her son’s girlfriend (Olivia Cooke). She becomes totally fixated on protecting him, and it makes you wonder if she’s right to be worried, or if she’s just letting her paranoia take over. It’s a great binge-watch!
Critics are loving the six-part miniseries, and many recommend watching all the episodes in one go. We think it’s a fantastic choice for a binge-watching session on Prime Video this month.
4) Lazarus

Even though Halloween is over, November is still a great time to watch some scary shows. The new six-part miniseries Lazarus recently became available on Prime Video, featuring Bill Nighy, Alexandra Roach, and Sam Clafflin.
The show centers around Joel Lazarus (Clafflin) who returns home after his father, Jonathan (Nighy), seemingly dies by suicide. Still struggling with the unsolved murder of his sister from 25 years ago, Joel suspects his father’s death wasn’t self-inflicted. He starts having strange visions and begins investigating his father’s old cases, hoping to uncover the truth about what happened to his family. It’s a suspenseful and unsettling series, perfect for a dark autumn night – especially if you’re looking to avoid all the holiday festivities.
3) King & Conqueror

I was really missing Game of Thrones and needed something new to dive into, so I checked out King & Conqueror, and it totally hit the spot! It’s a historical drama with just eight episodes, which is perfect for a quick binge. You can find it on Prime Video, and it tells a fictionalized story about what led up to the Norman Conquest of England. The best part? Nikolaj Coster-Waldau – yes, Jaime Lannister himself – plays William, Duke of Normandy! It’s a great find if you’re a fan of epic stories and that Game of Thrones vibe.
This historical drama is set in 11th century England, where King Edward dies without an obvious successor. Initially allies, Harold Godwinson and William quickly become rivals in a power struggle for the English throne. While many viewers will know the eventual outcome, the series focuses on the compelling events leading up to it. It’s worth watching even knowing the history, though the show does take some creative liberties with the facts.
2) Unburied
Coming to Prime Video in late October, Unburied is a Spanish-language mystery series based on Gabriela Garcia’s novel Cometierra. It’s a captivating show to start watching this November! The story centers on Aylin, a teenager from a working-class background, who discovers she can hear the voices of missing people after eating dirt. As she learns to control this unusual ability, she transforms into a hero determined to fight the injustice and violence in her community.
Unburied is a captivating supernatural story that blends magical realism with a heartwarming tale of a young woman striving to uplift her community. It’s an inspiring and engaging watch.
1) Grimm

Even though it ended eight years ago, Grimm is a fantastic show to watch on Prime Video. It centers around Portland detective Nick Burkhardt, who discovers he’s a Grimm—a descendant of monster hunters tasked with maintaining peace between the human world and dangerous creatures known as Wesen. The show stars David Giuntoli, along with Elizabeth Tulloch, Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
If you’re looking for a show to binge-watch, Grimm, with its six seasons, offers plenty of entertainment. Beyond just having a lot of episodes, it’s a well-made series that expertly uses the ‘monster of the week’ concept. The show features a complex and thoughtful storyline that explores deeper themes than just the monsters themselves. Plus, there’s currently discussion about a possible reboot.
