With the rise of streaming services, Prime Video has become a major player in the entertainment world. It offers a solid selection of movies and TV shows, making it a popular choice for viewers. From classic favorites to innovative new originals, Prime Video has a lot to offer. With content spanning many different genres, there’s something for everyone, and plenty to watch whenever you want.
I always look forward to the holidays as a chance to really relax and catch up on TV. And with Prime Video, there’s honestly something for everyone! If you’re like me and planning to do some serious binge-watching this Christmas 2025, I’ve put together a list of the best shows to get you started.
7) Malice

Prime Video has a lot of exciting thrillers, and one of the newest—and best—to watch over the Christmas break is Malice. Starring David Duchovny and Jack Whitehall, this British series follows a nanny with a hidden agenda who starts working for a rich family. Since its release in mid-November, Malice has been getting a lot of buzz, making it a great choice for a six-episode binge this Christmas.
6) Fleabag

If you’re looking for a great show to watch during the holidays, check out Fleabag. This popular British comedy-drama, available on Prime Video, follows a young woman’s life in London. It’s known for being both funny and emotionally powerful, and with just 12 episodes, it’s easy to watch the whole series in a day or two.
5) The Boys

Amazon’s The Boys is a hugely popular show based on the comic book series of the same name. It’s a brilliantly satirical take on superheroes, known for its complex storylines, dark humor, and shocking moments – making it one of the most over-the-top shows on television. Since the fifth and final season is coming in 2026, now – around Christmas 2025 – is the ideal time to catch up with the first four seasons.
4) The Legend of Vox Machina

Despite being one of the highest-rated shows on Prime Video – with a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes – The Legend of Vox Machina doesn’t get nearly enough attention. This animated fantasy series is based on the popular Critical Role web series from Dungeons & Dragons. It’s one of Prime Video’s best original shows thanks to its clever adult humor and impressive animation. All three seasons – a total of 36 episodes – are currently available, and a fourth is planned for 2026, making the holidays a perfect time to start watching!
3) Supernatural

Even though it’s not a Prime Video original, you can currently stream all 15 seasons of Supernatural on the platform. The show follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester as they hunt paranormal creatures, featuring everything from scary monsters to powerful biblical beings, all set to a great rock soundtrack. It’s a truly memorable series, and with some time off over the holidays, it’s the perfect opportunity to start watching (though 15 seasons might take a while!).
2) The Wheel of Time

Prime Video’s fantasy series, The Wheel of Time, based on Robert Jordan’s popular books, recently concluded after three seasons. Though fans were disappointed by the cancellation, all 24 episodes remain available to stream on Prime Video, offering a chance to enjoy this epic story, especially during the holidays.
1) Fallout

The popular video game Fallout was adapted into a TV series on Prime Video, launching in April 2024. The second season started streaming on December 17th, with new episodes released each week until February 2026. This makes the Christmas 2025 break an ideal time to watch season one and the beginning of season two, so you’ll be ready for the rest of season two in the new year.
