Next week, Jacob Roberts’ character, Kit Green, could potentially find himself in a tricky situation following his meddling in girlfriend Sarah Platt’s business matters. However, it’s Sarah’s enigmatic colleague, Becky Swain, whose background that may turn out to be the real mystery.
In my storyline, I find myself caught in the heat of an affair that’s been uncovered by Tracy Barlow, and at the same time, my sister Debbie is facing a sudden health crisis, leaving us both in a whirlwind of unexpected events.
Additionally, there seems to be a romantic angle for Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown), yet one might wonder if the potential conflict of interest is too significant?
Brody Michaelis, portrayed by Ryan Mulvey, seems to be causing trouble, and there’s another concerning development cropping up within his family.
Over yonder, I, a dedicated soap opera enthusiast, find myself witnessing an intriguing turn of events. Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) are entangled in a rather curious situation, and it’s Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) who confirms his departure from the familiar cobblestones.
Here are all your Coronation Street spoilers for Monday 18th August – Friday 22nd August 2025.
7 Coronation Street spoilers next week
1. Tracy Barlow uncovers Abi Webster’s affair with Carl Webster

Abi finds it irritating when Carl Webster, her lover played by Jonathan Howard, seems to be flirting with Tracy and accidentally reveals his hotel room number at Chariot Square.
Carl tells Abi the exchange was simply a cover, and he suggests they meet at his hotel.
But when Carl assumes it’s Abi in the shower, only for Tracy to appear, Carl turns her down.
Following a heartfelt exchange with her husband, Kevin Webster (portrayed by Michael Le Vell), Abi subsequently learns from Carl that he declined Tracy’s offer.
As I stand by, unaware of the complexities unfolding, I subtly nudge Tracy, encouraging her to give things another go with Carl. I even volunteer to treat us all to a round or two, hoping to lighten the mood. Meanwhile, in a separate conversation, Carl confides in Abi that he’s available for Tracy, should she be interested, provided their current relationship with Kevin remains unchanged.

A bit later, with some hesitation, Abi begins to prepare for a trip to Mallorca. She confesses to Kev that she can’t locate her passport and asks him to proceed without her, promising to join him as soon as the issue is resolved.
At the hotel, Carl tells Tracy he’s in love with someone else.
Tracy suspects Abi is there, and shortly after, her suspicions prove true when she notices Abi in the store. This encounter takes place following their clandestine night together with Carl, which had been kept a secret.
Following a lively day, Carl and Abi exchange a warm embrace inside their home that deepens into a kiss, while cunning Tracy observes from behind the glass of a nearby window.
What will Tracy do with this information?
2. Debbie Webster rushed to hospital after sudden collapse

As a movie connoisseur, I found myself deeply concerned while observing the character Debbie diligently attend to her duties at the hotel. The relentless pace at which she was working made me, Ronnie Bailey (portrayed by Vinta Morgan), worry that she might be overextending herself. Her dedication is commendable, but I couldn’t help but feel a pang of apprehension for her well-being.
When my partner Ronnie asks Ryan to work on his day off, I find myself displeased by what seems like an intrusion into our personal time, as his fiancée.
The next morning, I found myself stepping into the Webster residence for a bit of tidying up, with Abi conveniently absent. (Review style)
But Debbie gets dizzy and collapses on the floor, with a hiding Carl emerging to check on her.
Abi returns and calls an ambulance while Carl heads back upstairs out of sight.
At the hospital, Debbie assures Ronnie and Carl she’s been given the all clear.
When Debbie tells Carl she’s sorry he had to come home early from Wales, he masks his guilt.
Yet, even though Carl attempts to hide his affair, will Debbie choose to proceed at a slower pace as she adapts to living with her dementia diagnosis?

3. Kit Green reveals suspicions over Becky Swain case amid his own harassment accusation

On a particularly challenging day, Sarah finds herself leading an Underworld meeting, but things quickly escalate when the client, Eli, has recently been stopped and searched by none other than Kit, due to Eli’s vehicle being illegally parked.
When Kit shows up and Eli recognizes him as Sarah’s boyfriend, he attempts to depart, but Sarah prevents Kit from leaving and confines Eli in the office so he can hear her presentation.

Later on, Carla Connor (played by Alison King) confides in Sarah that Eli has been maliciously spreading gossip about her being a person who preys on others sexually. As customers push for the same leniency they’ve previously given to Eli, Carla finds herself in a difficult position.
1. Sarah is seething at Kit for menacing Eli, and furious with David Platt (played by Jack P Shepherd) for revealing Eli’s contact information to Kit.
2. Sarah is livid with Kit due to his bullying of Eli, and enraged at David Platt (portrayed by Jack P Shepherd) for disclosing Eli’s details to Kit.
3. Sarah is boiling mad at Kit because he intimidated Eli, and she’s really angry with David Platt (performed by Jack P Shepherd) as he handed over Eli’s information to Kit.
4. Sarah can barely contain her rage towards Kit for endangering Eli, and is infuriated with David Platt (acted by Jack P Shepherd) for sharing Eli’s details with Kit.
5. Sarah is steaming at Kit for harassing Eli, and incensed with David Platt (depicted by Jack P Shepherd) for giving Eli’s information to Kit.
6. Sarah is fuming at Kit for terrorizing Eli, and furious with David Platt (performed by Jack P Shepherd) for leaking Eli’s details to Kit.
7. Sarah is irate with Kit for intimidating Eli, and enraged at David Platt (played by Jack P Shepherd) for providing Eli’s contact information to Kit.
8. Sarah is furious with Kit for threatening Eli, and incensed at David Platt (portrayed by Jack P Shepherd) for disclosing Eli’s details to him.
Di Costello startles Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) by advising her to maintain a professional distance from Kit, so she won’t get entangled in his troubles.
In the meantime, Costello questions Kit concerning Eli’s allegations of intimidation. However, he decides to assign Kit to desk duty under the pretext of his injuries, rather than initiate an official investigation.

Afterward, Kit shares with Sarah that he had been examining a case which he discovered shared connections to an old case that Becky, Lisa’s deceased spouse, was previously engaged in. However, when he sought the related documents from Costello, he advised Kit to drop the matter.
Kit has been quietly working on something, while Lisa finds herself embroiled in another trash can dispute with her new neighbor, David. To add to the mix, she also becomes annoyed by David’s dog’s constant barking!
What else will Kit uncover?
4. Dee-Dee Bailey shares surprise kiss with new client Ollie

Following my encounter with the charming Ollie, whom I’ve known prior to our business interactions, I find myself drawn to him, yet apprehensive due to potential conflicts of interest.
Over the course of the week, Ollie and Dee-Dee acknowledge their feelings for each other. However, they both determine that it would not be appropriate for them to become romantically involved, given that she is a client.
Even so, Ollie leans in for a kiss, and Dee-Dee can’t help kissing him back.

In simpler terms, Dee-Dee initially tells Ollie she prefers a gradual approach, but later shares with James Bailey (Jason Callender) that while she finds Ollie appealing, she intends to maintain a professional distance due to concerns about potentially experiencing heartbreak once more.
When Ollie bumps into Dee-Dee with baby Laila in her pram, Dee-Dee explains she’s her daughter.
As she suggests going for a drink so she can explain, how will Ollie react?
Will he and Dee-Dee make a go of it?
5. Brody Michaelis caught in dodgy scheme amid shock incident at the Metcalfes

In the garage, Carl catches Brody in the act of attempting to steal an expensive automobile, and cautions the young man that he’ll likely find himself back in detention center if he continues down this path.
With that, Carl proposes demonstrating a simpler method for Brody to acquire motors, though it seems unlikely that this will end positively!
The latest attempt by Brody, involving his sisters Joanie (Savanna Pennington) and Shanice Michaelis (Molly Kilduff), to secretly elope, is soon uncovered by foster parents Tim (Joe Duttine) and Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor).
In simpler terms, Tim encourages Brody to believe that the social system will make the right decisions for all of them, and eventually, Brody must inform the girls that their mother Lou (played by Farrel Hegarty) was given a four-year jail sentence.
Sally tries to comfort them, but at that moment, a social worker arrives with a psychologist.
They express their joy about the family staying together, yet suddenly a scream echoes from the garden.
What has happened?
6. Steve McDonald is found in a compromising position

Steve decides to purchase some beer in an attempt to reconcile with Tyron Dobbs, portrayed by Alan Halsall, following the turmoil caused by young Dorian Pop’s disappearance.
However, when Cassie Plummer, portrayed by Claire Sweeney, requests that Steve demonstrate some of his pole dancing skills, he finds it hard to refuse.

The pair are found by poor Ty in a state of undress!
Will Cassie be able to persuade Tyrone to let Steve move back in, or is this the final straw?
7. Aadi Alahan confirms exit plans after police outcome

Aadi informs Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) that the police gave him a warning instead of charging him with a crime.
Later, Aadi shares that he’s had a conversation with Cousin Vikram Desai (portrayed by Chris Bisson from Emmerdale), and he intends to begin anew in India.
Asha is gutted that her twin is moving away, but will it be a happy farewell for Aadi?
