The teacher faces challenges from the school officials, who disapprove of having a penguin around, despite the fact that the penguin actually helps the students, who were previously disruptive, focus on their studies.
This movie is deeply moving – it’s both hopeful and heartbreaking. It powerfully shows how global events can worsen poverty, specifically in a Malawian village impacted by the 9/11 attacks.
