For the first time in years, Marvel and DC Comics have teamed up for a special crossover event, *Deadpool/Batman*. This comic isn’t just about Batman and Deadpool together-it also includes extra stories pairing other popular heroes from both universes. While not every story was perfect, the series is a lot of fun overall, and fans of Marvel or DC should definitely give it a read. The collaboration doesn’t end there, as DC will be releasing its own *Batman/Deadpool* one-shot comic later this year.
Now that Marvel and DC Comics are working together more, fans are excited about the potential for team-ups between their favorite heroes. We’ve already seen how enjoyable some of these collaborations can be, and it’s got people hoping to see even more! Today, we’re going to explore seven crossovers that Marvel and DC should definitely consider. Let’s dive in and brainstorm!
7) Ms. Marvel/Robin

Both Ms. Marvel and Robin are leading teenage superheroes who represent the future of heroism. Seeing them team up would be amazing, and their contrasting personalities would make for a hilarious buddy-cop style adventure. Kamala is a bubbly, enthusiastic fan of superheroes, while Damian is intensely serious and focused. He’d likely be annoyed by her energy, and she’d be thrilled to meet Batman’s Robin! Their relationship has the potential to develop from reluctant partnership to genuine friendship, and we could always use more stories like that.
6) Vision/Red Tornado

Vision and Red Tornado share a unique connection – they’re both long-time members of their respective superhero teams, yet consistently feel like they don’t quite belong. A conversation between them would be a fascinating exploration of what it means to be human, even when you aren’t. They could discuss how their teammates both support and unintentionally challenge them, offering a fresh perspective on both the Marvel and DC universes. It’s an opportunity to see these worlds through the eyes of two characters who truly understand each other’s experiences.
5) Fantastic Four/The Flash (Barry Allen)

The Fantastic Four and The Flash (Barry Allen) share a lot of similarities – they’re all scientists, deeply value family, and are driven to explore the mysteries of the universe. A team-up would allow them to chart countless worlds, and it would be great to see these family-oriented heroes interact. However, the real excitement comes from their villains. Doctor Doom and Reverse-Flash are incredibly spiteful, both consumed by an intense, lifelong hatred for one specific person. Imagine Doom and Thawne scheming together – they could create unbelievably petty and obsessive plans! It would be hilarious and compelling to watch the mature, family-focused heroes, Reed Richards and Barry Allen, try to handle the fallout. The potential for dramatic and entertaining interactions is huge.
4) Black Panther/Aquaman

Black Panther and Aquaman, as kings and heroes, would likely have a lot in common. They both face the challenges of leadership while also protecting their people, and they’ve both dealt with threats from rogue underwater rulers who want to attack the surface world – perhaps even villains like Namor or Ocean Master. T’Challa, in particular, would probably appreciate talking to an Atlantean who wasn’t actively hostile or involved in a complicated personal conflict. This connection could be a valuable opportunity for both kings to find understanding and camaraderie as leaders of vastly different civilizations.
3) Captain Marvel/Shazam

The core of this idea revolves around a single, potentially hilarious joke. The character now known as Captain Shazam was initially called Captain Marvel, but DC changed the name because Marvel Comics already owned the rights to it, creating advertising difficulties. Despite the change, DC isn’t prohibited from *referring* to him as Captain Marvel – they just can’t title a comic book that way. A story where both Shazam and Carol Danvers are called Captain Marvel, leading to constant confusion – like people mistaking Carol for a young boy – offers a lot of comedic potential and interesting character interactions. The story could even feature a competition to decide who gets to keep the name, or a meta-narrative where Carol sues Billy for the rights. Just the image of She-Hulk bringing Billy and the Wizard to court would be worth the price of admission.
2) Captain America/Justice Society of America

While Captain America briefly teamed up with Wonder Woman in a *Deadpool/Batman* comic, I’m still excited about the possibility of him joining a dedicated WWII superhero team. We’ve already seen a glimpse of what could happen when he works with heroes from that era, and a full team-up would allow for a much deeper exploration of those relationships. The idea of Cap fighting alongside these heroes, then being frozen and waking up to discover they’re still active-though older-creates a compelling foundation for a story about heroism and time. It could be a really inspiring tale demonstrating that it’s not age that defines a hero, but their commitment to doing what’s right.
1) Spider-Man/Superman

Superhero team-ups aren’t new, but next year will be the 50th anniversary of the very first one: *Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man: The Battle of the Century*. Superman and Spider-Man are the icons of DC and Marvel, each embodying what makes their universe’s heroes special. A lot has changed since that original meeting, so a new collaboration feels long overdue. Seeing these two powerhouses work together would be amazing – they have a fantastic dynamic and represent the best of both worlds. If we see more Marvel and DC crossovers in the future, this is definitely one we need!
We’ve explored seven possible team-ups that could happen if Marvel and DC ever collaborate. Ultimately, fans just enjoy seeing these iconic characters together, and any future crossover is bound to be popular. Everyone has their dream team, so tell us what you think!
