7 Most Powerful One-Punch Man Characters Who Haven’t Appeared Yet in the Anime

One-Punch Man’s third season is almost here, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Saitama and the other heroes for years. In the time since the last season, the original manga by ONE has introduced many intense fights, involving not only the main character, but also his friends. Considering the huge challenges coming up in the anime, we decided it’s a good time to highlight some of the most important characters – both heroes and villains – who haven’t appeared in the anime yet.

One-Punch Man is back for a third season starting October 4th! We don’t yet know exactly how much of the story from the manga will be adapted, but some of the characters mentioned below might show up. If you’d like to get ahead and see what’s coming, you can read the manga or the original webcomic.

7.) Sage Centipede

I’m really excited about the possibilities for season three of One-Punch Man, and I think the Sage Centipede could be a major player! Seriously, this thing is *huge* – we’re talking skyscraper-sized! – and that’s why it’s one of the Monster Association’s strongest members. We already saw Saitama take down the Elder Centipede with one punch in season two, but the Sage Centipede feels different. It’s so incredibly terrifying that I have a feeling it might actually be able to *withstand* a hit from Saitama, similar to how Boros did. I don’t necessarily think it will be the final villain to defeat Saitama, but I’m sure it’s going to give our heroes a really tough battle. It’s going to be epic!

6.) Evil Mineral Water

Although Evil Mineral Water sounds like a silly name for an anime villain, don’t let that fool you – it’s incredibly dangerous! This unusual enemy appeared on a preview poster for the third season of One-Punch Man, making its fall debut almost certain. What makes Evil Mineral Water so frightening is its power to soak up water and other materials, which allows it to grow much larger. This antagonist is one of the most bizarre members of the Monster Association, but it’s also among the group’s most powerful. You can be sure Evil Mineral Water will be a key player when the anime finally returns.

5.) Homeless Emperor

The third season of One-Punch Man will introduce a new character, the Homeless Emperor, who can best be described as a dark reflection of Marvel’s Dr. Strange. Though he wasn’t born underground, this strange villain developed a deep hatred for humanity after previously working as an ordinary office worker. The Homeless Emperor isn’t just powerful with energy; he also possesses greatly increased strength and speed, earning him a “dragon” level ranking within the Monster Association. Fans of the manga already know this human villain will play a significant role in the upcoming season, and his backstory will likely have major consequences for the anime’s future.

4.) Evil God Garou

It might appear a bit unfair to include this, given that Garou has been a significant character in One-Punch Man’s anime since the start of season two, but his ultimate transformation is so powerful it deserves a place on this list. Receiving power from a malevolent god, the hero hunter finally achieves the strength he’s always desired, becoming an unstoppable force that gives Saitama the challenging fight he’s been waiting for. Because Garou was defeated by the main hero in season two, we can anticipate him utilizing his “evil god power” in unpredictable ways in future episodes of the anime.

3.) Blast

One of the biggest secrets in the One-Punch Man anime has been the identity of the Hero Association’s number one hero, but those who follow the manga have already seen Blast in action. For anyone unfamiliar, Blast is an incredibly powerful hero who can create portals, letting him teleport himself and anything else to any location he chooses. He also has control over gravity and possesses strength and speed that far surpasses almost all other heroes. When Blast finally appears in the anime, it’s likely to have a significant impact on the entire series.

2.) Void

Void is a significant figure in the story of One-Punch Man, mainly because he founded the ninja village that many important characters come from. For instance, Speed-O-Sound Sonic began his journey there. Beyond being one of the most powerful ninjas in Saitama’s world, Void later gains power from the same dark god who enhanced Garou. The battle with Void is currently unfolding in the manga, and when it’s adapted into the anime, it promises to be one of the series’ most epic fights yet. And of course, there’s one character we saved for last.

1.) God

The mysterious and malevolent entity known only as “God” is the source of the significant power boosts for both Garou and Void, leveling the playing field against Saitama. If the One-Punch Man series has a true overarching villain, it’s likely this being. Unlike characters such as Blast or Homeless Emperor, it’s hard to define the extent of this all-powerful being’s abilities, but it’s reasonable to believe this entity is the only one capable of ultimately defeating Saitama.
