Many of Netflix’s most acclaimed shows, even the really good ones, are best experienced just once. For example, series like Mike Flanagan’s The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass are powerful but don’t necessarily hold up to repeat viewings. Others, like The Queen’s Gambit, tell a complete and satisfying story, leaving you feeling content after just one watch. Even House of Cards, despite being popular, isn’t particularly rewatchable – and that’s true even aside from the issues surrounding Kevin Spacey. However, some series are designed for multiple viewings and remain enjoyable on each watch.
It wasn’t a deliberate choice to exclude miniseries—they simply didn’t end up being selected. However, if you enjoyed the movie Wet Hot American Summer, the miniseries First Day of Camp is definitely worth revisiting.
7) I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson

Not everyone enjoys awkward or ‘cringe’ comedy. Tim Robinson’s unique, often bizarre, style of humor proved this, as he wasn’t used much during his time on Saturday Night Live. It’s easy to see why SNL struggled to find a place for him – he truly thrived when he could create his own comedic world. Netflix recognized his talent, and that’s how I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson came to be.
While I Think You Should Leave isn’t for everyone, and even its biggest fans admit some sketches don’t quite land, the truly great ones – like “Save Corncob TV,” “Summer Loving,” and “Prank Show” – are endlessly rewatchable and consistently hilarious.
6) The Crown

Each of the six seasons of The Crown was incredibly detailed and visually stunning, making the show captivating to watch. While this contributes to its rewatchability, the consistently excellent performances from the changing cast are equally crucial.
One reason The Crown is so rewatchable is its structure. The show essentially functions as three separate, two-season arcs, each focusing on a different period of Queen Elizabeth II’s life. We see her portrayed by three different actresses – Claire Foy, Olivia Colman, and Imelda Staunton – which makes it feel like watching a sprawling, multi-generational story unfold.
5) Black Mirror

Similar to I Think You Should Leave, Black Mirror is a show where certain episodes really stand out, even if the whole series isn’t consistently great. Take “USS Callister,” for example. It’s so well-acted, thanks to Cristin Milioti and Jesse Plemons, that you’ll want to watch it again and again, even if you already know how it ends.
Binge-watching a whole TV series can feel like a big time commitment, and it is! However, if you just watch individual episodes you already enjoy, it doesn’t feel as demanding on your time.
4) Murderville

The first episode of Netflix’s Murderville features what might be the funniest moment ever in a Netflix original show or movie. The series has a unique premise: everyone except the weekly guest star is working from a script. The guest joins Will Arnett, who plays Detective Terry Seattle, to help solve a mystery. In the premiere, that guest is none other than comedian and talk show host Conan O’Brien, a longtime friend of Arnett’s.
You know, one of the funniest things in Murderville happens when Will Arnett’s character, O’Brien, is interrogating a suspect. He randomly launches into this story about being bullied as a kid, and then claims all his bullies ended up as U.S. senators! When asked to name just one, he blurts out Dianne Feinstein – which, looking back, was a pretty wild joke considering she passed away the following year. The actress he’s talking to just loses it, and honestly, genuine laughter like that is rare on set. That kind of spontaneous, silly improv is what makes Murderville so endlessly rewatchable. Seriously, Netflix needs to give us a Season 2!
3) Arcane

With only two seasons and 18 episodes, Arcane is a relatively quick binge-watch – it’s like a single, extended 12-hour movie. Many people happily rewatch the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, which is almost 11 and a half hours long, so Arcane isn’t much more of a time commitment.
Similar to The Lord of the Rings, Arcane is beautifully animated and features a cast of fascinating characters. Plus, the show is full of subtle hints about what’s to come, and you’ll notice even more details and appreciate them fully on a second viewing.
2) Wednesday

While Wednesday especially appeals to Gen Z, Millennials are also big fans. The show taps into nostalgia for the original 1990s movies starring Christina Ricci, Anjelica Huston, and Raul Julia, but it’s also a well-crafted mystery with a richly developed world that keeps viewers hooked across both seasons.
The actors were perfectly cast, with Jenna Ortega shining as Wednesday Addams. However, Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair and Evie Templeton as Agnes DeMille also deserve praise. The three actresses created unique and engaging characters with a delightful and often humorous chemistry. Even before Evie appeared in Season 2, the contrast between Wednesday and Enid’s personalities made for entertaining scenes, all while building a believable and strong friendship.
1) Stranger Things

With Stranger Things finished after five seasons, many viewers are searching for a new show to fill the void. However, it might not be necessary to find a replacement, as the series as a whole is very enjoyable, even if some seasons are better than others. It’s a complete story you can simply rewatch from beginning to end.
Fans who loved the show’s 80s vibe and references will easily be drawn back into the story. Viewers who enjoy horror or science fiction will likely revisit Stranger Things regularly. But ultimately, it’s the characters that people connected with, and that’s why they’ll want to see what happens next.
