Hulk is a hugely popular Marvel character, first appearing in comics in 1962, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. While his comic book history is extensive, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) hasn’t been able to showcase all of his different forms and storylines. The MCU’s version of the Hulk, stemming from the story of scientist Bruce Banner and his gamma-powered alter ego, is one of the most successful adaptations of the character so far, though it represents only a portion of his overall history.
The MCU has delivered some fantastic Hulk moments, but it hasn’t fully explored his comic book history. A major omission is the lack of different Hulk forms. In the comics, Hulk has transformed into many incredibly powerful versions of himself, and fans have noticed this absence in the movies. While not all of these forms may ever appear on screen, there’s still a possibility we could see some of them in future MCU projects.
7) Gray Hulk

The Gray Hulk, who also goes by Joe Fixit, is one of the original versions of the Hulk character. Although he isn’t the strongest form the Hulk takes, he’s been a part of the comics for many years. Unlike the Savage Hulk, Joe Fixit has his own unique story and has developed as a character over time. While Marvel has created several different versions of the Hulk, the Gray Hulk remains a well-developed character in the comics, but hasn’t appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet.
6) Devil Hulk

The Devil Hulk, sometimes called the Immortal Hulk, is one of the most compelling and frightening transformations of the classic character in the comic books. He represents Bruce Banner’s bottled-up anger and functions as both a villain and a crucial part of what makes the Hulk, the Hulk. While bringing the Devil Hulk to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be a major challenge, he’s easily one of the most powerful and well-developed versions of the character ever created.
5) Green Scar

The Green Scar is a significant version of the Hulk in Marvel comics, and there’s a good chance we might see him in future Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies. Created while stranded on the planet Sakaar, the Green Scar is incredibly strong like the Savage Hulk, but also possesses the intelligence of the Gray Hulk, and is fueled by intense anger. He plays a crucial role in the World War Hulk comic book storyline, which makes his appearance in the MCU more likely if that story is ever adapted for the big screen.
4) Maestro

Maestro is widely considered one of the Hulk’s greatest foes. He’s a future version of the Hulk from a timeline where nuclear war has destroyed the world. Unlike the traditional Hulk, Maestro has no sense of right or wrong. He’s eliminated all his rivals – even Hercules – and become the dominant leader of those who survived. While incredibly powerful, it doesn’t seem like we’ll be seeing Maestro join the Marvel Cinematic Universe anytime soon.
3) Venom-Hulk

During the Absolute Carnage comic event, the Hulk temporarily bonded with the Venom symbiote to battle the main villain. This created a powerful combination of the Hulk’s strength and Venom’s abilities. However, recreating the events that led to this team-up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be very difficult, making it unlikely we’ll see a Venom-Hulk appear in any future movies or TV shows.
2) Weapon H

Weapon H is often called one of the wildest Hulk variations ever created. He’s a combination of Hulk and Wolverine’s DNA, giving him the best traits of both: the immense size and strength of the Hulk, combined with Wolverine’s fast healing and claws. While a cool idea, Weapon H hasn’t appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and doesn’t seem likely to be included in future films.
1) Blue Hulk

Marvel Comics has featured several versions of the Blue Hulk, but the strongest is the one infused with the Uni-Power, known as the Captain Universe Hulk. This version combines the Hulk’s immense strength with the power of Captain Universe. Since the Marvel Cinematic Universe hasn’t established the concept of Captain Universe, it’s unlikely we’ll see this incredibly powerful form of the Hulk appear in the movies, despite its strength in the comics.
