While a new season has been a long wait, the franchise has remained active for over a decade.
Season 2 of Saga of Tanya the Evil will have a new director, Takayuki Yamamoto, taking over from Yutaka Uemura at Studio NUT. Kenta Ihara is returning to write the scripts, and Yuji Hosogoe will once again handle character design and chief animation direction.
