90 Day Fiancé’s Jasmine And Matt Celebrated His Birthday With A Surprising Change, But The Reason Makes Sense

I’ve been watching Jasmine and Matt on *90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?*, and their relationship seemed really rocky! But it’s so good to see they’ve actually made it work! They managed to get past Jasmine’s worries about Matt not accepting her daughter, and now they’re a family with little Matilda. It looks like they’ve made some big changes in their lives, but they’re doing great!

Over the years on 90 Day Fiancé, we’ve definitely seen cast members change a lot – like Tiffany Franco after losing weight, or Andrew Kenton getting much more muscular. But even after watching for a long time, I haven’t seen anything quite like what’s happening with Matt and Jasmine, and honestly, their reasons for changing make a lot of sense.

Jasmine And Matt Shaved Their Heads Bald

Matt recently celebrated his birthday on Instagram, and Jasmine decided to commemorate the day with a big reveal on Instagram. Check out a photo of the couple below, both with bald heads:

It seems like couples on *90 Day Fiancé* who both shave their heads might have a better chance of staying together! I can’t prove it, though – I don’t recall any couples on the show who split *and* both shaved their heads. I was particularly surprised to see Jasmine do it, but her reasoning actually makes a lot of sense.

Why Jasmine And Matt Shaved Their Heads

While 90 Day Fiancé fans may be familiar with Jasmine’s ex Gino Palazzolo and his insecurities over balding, they may be less aware of Jasmine’s own struggles due to alopecia. In a separate post she explained that she decided to shave her head, as a means of combatting her condition. Below, she elaborated on what led to her latest flare up, and the decision to shave:

I have alopecia, an autoimmune condition where my immune system mistakenly attacks my hair follicles. Stress and things like having a baby can make it worse, which explains why my hair loss sometimes fluctuates. It’s more than just losing hair—it’s a sign of how my body responds to stress and changes.

Matt shaved his head simply to show Jasmine his support. Jasmine hadn’t anticipated he’d join her in shaving his head, but she was really touched and grateful that he did.

As a huge fan of *90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After*, I honestly think all the tension between Loren and Libby could be resolved if just one of them would simply admit what they’re *really* feeling. It’s frustrating to watch them dance around the issue, and a little honesty would go a long way, in my opinion.

Fans of *90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?* are getting a lot of drama right now, especially after Jasmine revealed she’s expecting a baby girl. Matt is worried about how his parents will react to Jasmine, and he’s also struggling with the fact that he hasn’t explained his open marriage to them yet.

It’s reassuring to see they seem to have put the issues from *Happily Ever After?* behind them and are focusing on their daughter as a couple. It’s still unknown if they’re simply dating and co-parenting, or if they’re considering getting engaged and married. Currently, Jasmine seems content with having a home in the US and hopes she can stay long-term, as returning to Panama remains a possibility.
