In the initial phase post-Elden Ring’s launch, I found myself immersed in a captivating, shared experience with fellow gamers worldwide. We were like treasure hunters unearthing secrets and devising strategies as we ventured together into FromSoftware’s expansive realm – their largest to date.

In simpler terms, it seems that Elden Ring Nightreign might be FromSoftware’s smallest world yet, but there are still numerous hidden spots that continue to amaze players like me. The latest discovery is a collection of treasure chests located within the castle at the heart of the map, and I’m relieved to know I’m not alone in being unaware of their existence.

Reddit user ‘nomarfachix’ posted an instructional video titled “Reaching the Guaranteed 3 Chest Tower at the Heart of Castle,” and it rapidly gained popularity as one of the hottest discussions on the Nightreign subreddit. To get there, follow this route: from the hidden nook on the east side of the castle, ascend the castle until you hit ground level, then move northward along the western wall, passing a fire as you go. After that, clamber up the debris to reach a damaged tower, which has three top-tier chests inside. Keep in mind that jumping repeatedly might be necessary.

As a gamer myself, I’ve noticed that the folks I often get teamed up with don’t seem to be aware of certain strategies. Hopefully, this info will help someone out there! Early in the game, there’s a lot of blue and purple loot available, including consumables, keys, and other goodies.

At this stage, I’ve vanquished every boss within Nightreign multiple times over, and I’ve swept through all the different types of enemies in the castle countless times as well. It’s surprising that I hadn’t discovered this hidden loot cache before, nor was I aware of how to access it. These treasure chests should prove quite beneficial for Evergaol keys, consumables, and higher-quality loot during future playthroughs, provided I don’t forget to pick them up. I doubt that will happen; I won’t let the excitement of reaching the next church or Evergaol or Shifting Earth event cloud my judgment again, I assure you.
