In the new iteration of Marvel’s Ultimate Universe, it’s now Miles Morales’ turn to encounter the X-Men. As one of the last survivors from the original Ultimate Universe, Miles has taken on the role of Spider-Man alongside Peter Parker in his own universe. However, his original universe no longer exists, but a fresh Ultimate Universe has been established instead. We’re currently two years deep into this new universe, which means it’s time for an epic crossover event. The comic book series Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion introduces Miles Morales to a world where he seeks his lost sister. During this search, Miles has run into numerous heroes and villains within the Ultimate Universe, and now it’s time for him to cross paths with the X-Men.
In an exclusive first look, ComicBook features issue #3 of ‘Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion’ penned by Deniz Camp, Cody Ziglar, Jonas Scharf, Edgar Delgado, and VC’s Cory Petit. The story continues two months after Miles Morales entered the Ultimate Universe. Following encounters with multiple Spider-Men (Peter and Richard Parker), Wasp, Giant-Man from the Ultimates, and Black Panther in Wakanda, Miles embarks on a quest to Hi no Kuni, or Japan. As days pass without locating his younger sister Billie, uncertainty begins to creep into Miles’ thoughts. T’Challa had traced Billie’s energy signature to Japan, so that’s where Miles has ventured to reunite with her.
Miles found the assistance from the heroes of the Ultimate Universe to be useful, yet he harbors doubts about their trustworthiness. One might say there’s a slight unease in their presence. The only heroes that felt genuinely welcoming to him were Peter and Richard. As it happens, Miles encounters Mei Igarashi and Nico Minoru from the Ultimate X-Men comics. They’re discussing whether Nico’s style places her as a witch or simply a gothic enthusiast. However, what Mei truly requires is Nico’s aid in locating the Children of the Atom.
All of a sudden, Nico’s staff is filled with a burst of purple energy. This energy seems to be coming from a nearby source. Meanwhile, Mei creates a gust of wind that uncovers Miles, who was hiding in a tree. As the third episode preview of Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion concludes, it’s safe to assume that Nico, Mei, and Miles will collaborate to locate Billie while also taking on some of the Ultimate Universe’s evil characters.
This tale spans across the entire universe, and it’s likely that Miles and the characters from the Ultimates will encounter some life-altering disclosures. In my effort not to spoil anything, I can say that readers will gain insights into several Ultimate characters, and some of these characters will discover new truths about themselves.
Miles and Billie’s adventure in the Ultimate Universe won’t give away any secrets, but it promises to have a significant, entertaining impact on the 616 universe according to Ziglar.

Thankfully, a group of mutants, who refer to themselves as the X-Men, intervene on his behalf!
