Here is an overview of the game, via Yogscast Games:
About
Warped Worlds & Troubled Times” is a semi-open world puzzle adventure game. You’ll play as a talkative and impulsive mage who is on a quest to discover why everyone has mysteriously vanished. With 40 magical runes at your disposal, you can combine them freely, making each challenge a chance for you to come up with unique solutions.
What if Every Puzzle Had Multiple Solutions, and Half of Them Were Things You Invented?
In the mystical world of Rhell, you begin with four runes and acquire more during your journey. You can utilize up to five of these runes in any fashion you prefer to solve various puzzles. If you need to press two buttons simultaneously but are alone, you can duplicate yourself and transform your copy into a permanent puddle that holds the switch down. In a pinch, if you require a vehicle, you can imbue life into a rock and utilize it as your temporary pet car! The magic of this world is yours to command and master in whatever creative combinations you desire.
The World’s Gone Quiet
In a world where everyone except twelve individuals seems to have vanished, towns lie deserted and shrouded in mystery. As the cunning mage named Rhell, you delve into abandoned ruins brimming with ancient enigmas, decipher cryptic remnants from the past, and gradually unravel the truth behind this cataclysmic event. The scant survivors harbor various speculations, but the reality you may unearth could be more bizarre than anyone ever imagined. Initially, this seemed like a straightforward puzzle; however, it quickly proves to be a challenge that tests everything you believed about the world.

Discover Your Own Path
Roam freely through nine diverse regions at your leisure – from submerged libraries and sunken metropolises to volcanic workshops and crystal grottos. Each locale narrates its unique tale via environmental clues and concealed lore, accompanied by characters harboring their own enigmas to solve. Some zones interlink in unanticipated manners, rewarding the diligent explorer. The realm isn’t merely riddled with puzzles; it is a puzzle itself – one that unfolds further as you delve deeper. Whether tracking the central narrative or becoming intrigued by an intriguing oddity, there’s always another hidden truth waiting nearby.
Shape Your Story
By assisting the individuals you encounter on your path, you could observe Rhell’s personality evolve. Aid those who are lonely and witness her transformation into a compassionate individual. Conversely, should you choose to disregard them, she will remain the brash, outspoken mage she initially was. With various outcomes to uncover, let your inquisitiveness and benevolence (or indifference) guide your actions.
