Among all the game announcements this past summer, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls stands out as the most thrilling. Co-developed by Arc System Works in collaboration with PlayStation Studios and Marvel Games, this 4v4 tag fighter was showcased at EVO 2025. Scheduled for release next year on PS5 and PC, there’s a strong possibility that it will enjoy extended support post-launch.
According to Takeshi Yamanaka, Arc System Works producer, during the game’s EVO panel (as translated by Reed Baird, a senior producer from PlayStation Studios), he expressed that for the coming decade, their goal is to continually strive for creating the ultimate gaming experience with
Edgerunners. Additionally, they’re planning a major update (version 2.0) for release next year, along with the introduction of two new characters, speculated to be Robo-Ky and Jam.
Over the next few days, starting on September 5th and ending on the 7th, there will be a closed beta for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. For further details, you can click here, and to get started, take a look at our beginner’s guide video available here.
