Following the completion of its earlier plan for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, GSC Game World has unveiled a fresh roadmap that covers the rest of the year. This new schedule commences with an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.5.4, and subsequently includes the integration of several Night Division Devices and innovative Binoculars.
Players can anticipate further improvements to A-Life 2.0, which will involve modifications to the combat system (and Mutants), as well as introducing new Anomalies, missions from both familiar and new faces, and an updated weather situation. The length of the day/night cycle is being extended, and changes are being made to the loot found in stashes. For those seeking a tougher challenge, Master Difficulty will be added too.
In addition to the user interface enhancements, there will be changes to stamina and energy restoration items, as well as modifications to the Protection stats displayed in player equipment. The Zone Kit is also set to receive audio customization options, story-crafting tools for players, technical upgrades, and other features, rolled out across two stages.
Besides that, GSC Game World is preparing for the release of “S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl” on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro. Owners of “S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Enhanced Edition” can look forward to further enhancements, so keep an eye out for future announcements.
