During a chat on the New Heights podcast on August 13, the Grammy-winning artist disclosed that she has grown quite close to Travis Kelce’s entire family, including his brother Jason, his wife Kylie, and their daughters Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and Finnley. Surprisingly, she has also acquainted them with her cats named Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button.

Currently, Taylor is determined to persuade Jason into adopting a cat as part of their family, despite the amusing manner in which he jokingly informed his daughters that cats are harmful.

In my experience, I found myself in an engaging predicament when I gathered the children around our furry friends, the cats. My aim was to demonstrate to them that these felines weren’t harmful, and I believed the most convincing method would be to introduce them to Benjamin, our affectionate rag-doll cat who enjoys being held like a delicate infant.

Taylor Swift went on saying, “Cats are wonderful around children. They seem to sense when I’m there and act as though they’ve known me for a long time. For instance, if they haven’t been bitten by me, they don’t appear worried at all. And even if they had been nipped, it wouldn’t be poisonous. But this doesn’t seem to match what their father told them.

During this event, Kylie had to correct Jason after his impulsive suggestion during the Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills.

Could we perhaps avoid that for now?

She continued, “Since then, I’ve heard her say that exact thing to your 4-year-old.”

Jason replied, “That’s a common phrase.”

Ultimately, Taylor shared that the couple was exactly what she expected.

She said, “I’ve met you, and you are exactly as I expected. Kylie, too, is just as I thought – authentic, intelligent, and stylish.” She made sure to stress these points. “You’re truly amazing,” she added, “and I assume you already know that.

And joining their football family has only brought more joy to her life.
