I’m absolutely thrilled to share that as a dedicated fan, I recently got my hands on the latest issue of Jump GIGA Summer 2025, where Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover manga unveiled three new chapters! This epic series has been in its final arc for about three years now, and it’s all leading up to the massive showdown against Lucius Zogratis.
Now, Asta and Yuno bravely stepped forward for a head-on clash, but in a split second, Asta was struck down. Before he succumbed to unconsciousness, Asta entrusted his Demon Dweller sword and Anti-Magic abilities to Yuno.
Now, Yuno’s battling this devilish host on his own, but just when it seemed all hope was lost, several allies and even former villains have joined the fray to help the Clover Kingdom in their time of crisis! It’s shaping up to be one heck of a battle!
Warning: Spoilers Ahead for Black Clover’s Summer 2025 Manga Return!
In an unexpected turn of events, even the longtime adversary, the Diamond Kingdom, lends a hand to Clover Kingdom. This goodwill is largely attributed to Asta’s actions. Mars, Lagres, Lotus Whomalt, Fanzell Kruger, Dominante Code, Mariella, and Fana were among the first to join the fray. Many more mages from the Diamond Kingdom followed suit, including a newcomer, Feremena, who has been selected by the Earth Spirit in this era. Moris Libardirt, a renowned scholar of magic from the Diamond Kingdom, was later driven out by Mars and joined the Spade Kingdom. Now transformed into a Paladin, he encounters Diamond Kingdom mages once more. Recognizing Feremena, his former prodigy, who now ranks among the Eight Shining Generals and wields the Earth Spirit, Libardirt stands before her again.
What Is Spirit Magic in Black Clover?
In the realm of Black Clover, there are four fundamental types of magic, from which all lesser forms like ice, smoke, light, etc., originate. Each of these elements is unique and possesses a single spirit throughout the world. During each era, this spirit selects a new vessel to bestow its abilities upon. As a result, only four mages worldwide have the capacity to wield Spirit Magic, elevating them above their peers. Within the Clover Kingdom, Yuno Grinberryall and Fuegoleon Vermillion serve as Magic Knights, both utilizing Spirit Magic. Yuno garnered widespread recognition following his acquisition of Bell, the Wind Spirit.
In the story, Fuegoleon was selected by Salamander following his recovery from a coma. Undine, who is a Water Spirit, shares her body with Lolopechka, the ruler of the Heart Kingdom, and has collaborated with Noelle Silva in the past. Among all the mages, Yuno stands out as the one who has pushed spirit magic to new heights by incorporating Spirit Dive, where he merges the Wind Spirit into his own form. This gives him a significant power boost and access to powerful attacks. The Earth Spirit’s introduction came late in the narrative because the Diamond Kingdom hasn’t been heavily emphasized until now in Black Clover. However, with the end drawing near, author Yuki Tabata seems determined to resolve all remaining plot threads and unanswered questions, ensuring fans an exciting journey towards the conclusion of Black Clover.
