In addition to Phantom Blade Zero, Supermassive Games’ Little Nightmares 3 will be unveiled during the Future Games Show on August 20th as part of Gamescom. The announcement hinted at a return to the “funfair,” and on Instagram, Bandai Namco explicitly stated it was the Carnevale.
If you happened to miss the debut of the Little Nightmares Showcase, this setting is reminiscent of a twisted, carnival-esque location. As Low and Alone navigate their way through this peculiar landscape, they’ll encounter hunchback characters with poor vision and living puppets that relentlessly chase them, until their heads are crushed. In certain areas, the ability to call a hunchback away is crucial, while elsewhere, stealth is necessary for survival.
The guide for playing the game concludes with the pair riding on a rollercoaster. It’s possible that the Future Games Show trailer continues from this exact moment, building suspense even more. We’ll see soon, so make sure to stay updated!
The third installment of “Little Nightmares” is set to release on October 10th, available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and even Nintendo Switch 2. On the same day, the enhanced version of “Little Nightmares,” titled the Enhanced Edition, will also become accessible. Remarkably, for those who pre-order “Little Nightmares 3”, they can enjoy the Enhanced Edition immediately at no extra charge!
You’ve been there before, but the funfair is worth revisiting.
