Actress Karen Gillan, best known for her role as Amy Pond on Doctor Who, hinted at the possibility of reprising her character, provided there’s a unique and particular condition met.
From 2010 to 2012, over three seasons of the BBC’s science fiction series, Karen Gillan portrayed the companion of the Eleventh Doctor, played by Matt Smith. She made a comeback in the 2013 Christmas special titled “The Time of the Doctor.
On The One Show this week, Gillan joined her fellow stars from Life of Chuck, Mark Hamill and Tom Hiddleston. She was questioned if she might return to the world of Doctor Who.
Gillan replied, “I would join if given the chance, without a doubt. However, I insist on working alongside Matt Smith and Arthur Darvill.
Arthur Darvill portrayed Rory Williams, appearing alongside Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor and Alex Kingston’s Amy Pond. This dynamic trio continued their adventures together up until Season 7.
Before the premiere of her new drama “Hostage,” Suranne Jones sat with her on the couch, and it was noted that she had previously starred in “Doctor Who,” as pointed out by Gillan.

In the year 2011, Jones featured prominently in an episode titled The Doctor’s Wife, portraying Idris, a youthful woman who served as the vessel for the consciousness of the TARDIS.
Gillan suggested that Suranne might take on her previous character within the TARDIS, since we’re seated close to the TARDIS at this moment.
She added: “Maybe, maybe not – I don’t know!”
Titled after Stephen King’s original novella, “The Life of Chuck” unfolds the narrative of a man’s life in a unique manner, as it progresses through three acts, starting from the end and working backwards.
Hiddleston stars in the lead role of Chuck, while Hamill and Gillan appear in supporting roles.
Doctor Who is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
