The creators behind Ghost of Tsushima, known as Sucker Punch, have shared essential insights about their upcoming free Legends multiplayer DLC, set to launch sometime in the year 2026.
Essentially, it appears that Yotei’s approach closely resembles Ghost of Tsushima’s Legends multiplayer mode. In Yotei’s version, you’ll find cooperative story missions designed for two players and additional objective-focused missions suitable for teams of up to four players.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assume roles of four distinct character classes, even though their specifications are not yet revealed. Nonetheless, it’s not difficult to envision these roles as advancements from the heroes of Tsushima, offering a deeper exploration of abilities and unique playstyles.
Regarding the strategic aspects of gameplay, it seems that the battles in the new Legends version might present some additional challenges for you to consider. According to Sucker Punch, these challenges will involve facing colossal, demonic forms of characters from the original Yotei Six group, who were the main antagonists in the base game.
Additionally, an array of unique enemy types will be joining the fray. You can find some captivating visual concepts of them in the images provided below.
