1 Decade after its original release, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater has been remastered using a brand new game engine and numerous subtle adjustments. Although the gameplay remains largely unchanged from its initial version, locations of collectibles within each level may have shifted. Regardless, this guide will assist you in locating these items during your second visit to Rassvet.
All Kerotans & Ga-kos Rassvet (2nd Visit) in Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater
Following your initial trip to Rassvet, you’ll be returning here again due to narrative purposes. Much like your previous visit, discovering all the collectibles here should be straightforward since the map remains largely unchanged, aside from minor adjustments.
As soon as you reach the level, make a beeline for the stairs and climb them right away. Reach the very top of that edifice, and there’s another box up there with an AK-47 inside – perfect for those aiming for a deadly gameplay!
Even if you’re not out for a deadly chase, firing this weapon into the sky will discharge its entire magazine. This act adds an empty magazine to your inventory and can serve as a useful distraction tool, so it’s not entirely worthless!
Subsequently, for the locations of both Kerotan and Ga-ko, kindly refer to the map provided below. To locate Kerotan, simply climb a few steps and look beneath, as it’s positioned right under the staircase. As for Ga-ko, ascend the stairs and direct your gaze towards the broken rebar in the east. You will find Ga-ko perched on one of the damaged pillars above that particular direction.

Additionally, take notice of other props and face paint hidden within and near the dilapidated building. Remember to explore thoroughly before proceeding to the following stages of the game!
During my recent exploration, I stumbled upon a cardboard box standing tall amidst some crates right smack in the middle of the room where I initially encountered Ga-ko. It’s quite hard to overlook since it’s floating conspicuously in the open. As for the zombie face paint, it’s tucked away at the very corner, hidden at the back of this building. Don’t forget to check one of the lockers here as well, that’s where I found the thermal goggles.
