Amazon’s publishing division, Amazon Games, along with its development team at Amazon Games Montreal, have unveiled a new project titled “March of Giants“. This is a multiplayer online battle arena strategy game that allows four teams to engage in free-to-play war games. The game will be available on PC via Steam. A closed alpha test for the game runs from September 2nd to 10th.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
In simpler terms, it’s a multiplayer online game that doesn’t require any purchase upfront. You can choose to control a Giant character, manage an army of troops, and strategically place combat stations called “Battleworks” in a city landscape that has been destroyed by war. The game is designed for four players on each team, engaging in fierce battles against one another.
Key Features
- Play as a Giant – Dominate the battlefield as a towering war commander in strategic 4v4 combat. From crowd controllers to burst and sustained damage specialists, harness your Giant’s unique abilities to secure victory for your team.
- Lead Your Soliders – Lead thousands of fearless soldiers, guiding their movement to support your team’s advance. Send them charging into enemy Giants, storm outposts and assert relentless lane pressure.
- Deploy Battleworks – Position powerful reinforcements like trenches, tanks, and bunkers to turn the tide of battle. These Battleworks can be the difference between a tactical advantage and a strategic retreat. How will you outplay the enemy team?
