Isekai anime continue to dominate the animation scene with each new season, and now one of the genre’s hidden treasures is set to return for its second season. This popular genre has seen an increase in productions each year, leading to various sub-genres even within the broader fantasy category. Over time, the most exceptional series have risen above the rest. However, due to the abundance of choices, some remarkable titles have slipped under the radar.
In another world, I’ve come across an Isekai anime titled “Farming Life in Another World”. It’s a unique take on the genre, set within a farming simulator-style Isekai universe. This is a tranquil slice-of-life series boasting a vast array of characters, and strangely enough, it managed to slip by unnoticed for a few years without any hint of a sequel. But thankfully, those days are behind us as “Farming Life in Another World” has officially announced that a second season is on the horizon, slated for release next year. For those eager to catch a glimpse of what’s to come, you can find the special announcement trailer and poster below.
What to Know for Farming Life in Another World Season 2
Title Announcement for Season 2 of “Life in Another World on the Farm” is set for 2026, though a specific release date or timeframe remains unspecified as of this preliminary announcement. However, it has been verified that the original voice cast will reprise their roles, such as Atsushi Abe portraying Hiraku Machio, Shino Shimoji voicing Lu, Aya Suzaki as Tia, Lynn as Lea, Miyu Tomita as Flora, Yukiyo Fujii as Anne, Machico as Sena, Natsumi Hioka as Lastismoon and additional cast members. There are also some changes in the production team.
Stepping back into the director’s chair for Season 2 of “Farming Life in Another World” at Zero-G, I, Ryoichi Kuraya, am thrilled to share that I’ll be taking over the scriptwriting duties from Toko Machida. Joining me on this adventure will be the remarkable Yoshiko Saito, who returns with her captivating character designs, and Pony Canyon, who takes charge of production.
The musical duo, Yasuharu Takanashi and Johannes Nilsson, are also returning to weave their magical melodies for our new episodes. Although there are a few changes, I’m overjoyed that many of the talented individuals from Season 1 will be joining us once more, making this season just as promising!

At 39 years old, Machio Hiraku’s life was tragically ended by illness. This experience made him deeply appreciate even small blessings in life. Given another chance by a divine entity, all Hiraku desires for his second life is to be well, live harmoniously, and work on a picturesque farm. The fresh air, sunlight, honest labor, and good companionship create the tranquil lifestyle that Hiraku has longed for.
