Squanch Games has introduced a special edition of the first-person shooter game “High on Life” tailored for the Nintendo Switch 2, which is now available for purchase through the Nintendo eShop at $39.99. The developer has also made it possible for existing owners of “High on Life” on the Nintendo Switch to upgrade to the new edition for free using an Upgrade Pack.
Initially, the game titled High On Life made its debut for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC platforms, including Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store on December 13, 2022. Subsequently, it was released for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on July 22, 2023, and eventually on Nintendo Switch on May 6, 2025.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition adds the following features:
- Support for Joy-Con 2 mouse controls
- Improved VFX Quality
- Upgraded Texture Quality
- Higher frame rate
- Enhanced resolution
- Up to 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second gameplay when docked
