Zombie Army VR Gets Free Update With Horde Mode, New Skins

The development team, Developer Rebellion, has unveiled a fresh free update for the VR version of Zombie Army, introducing a brand-new game mode called Horde Mode. In honor of this latest addition, the studio has also launched a new trailer demonstrating the Horde Mode – take a look at it below!

In the virtual reality game, Zombie Army VR, the Horde mode drops you into a soldier’s boots, where you’ll be up against endless hordes of progressively more menacing zombies. If the relentless threats become too much for a single player to handle, they can partner up with another player in a 2-player cooperative setting. The game offers four distinct maps, each presenting unique challenges that players must navigate throughout their adventure.

In the latest sneak peek at Zombie Army VR, I’m thrilled about the balanced mix of indoor and outdoor settings in the Horde mode. This means players will face a variety of challenges, from engaging long-range enemies in vast open spaces to battling swarms of nimble undead in tight corridors. On top of this exciting gameplay enhancement, the update also introduces two new skins, Black Ice and Toxic Hazard, to our arsenal in Zombie Army VR.

In May, Zombie Army VR was launched on platforms like SteamVR for PC, PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest 3. Priced at $29.99, this game serves as a prequel to Zombie Army 4. Players step into the role of a Deadhunter, an elite squad known for eliminating zombie war criminals. The narrative centers around the player’s struggle in a devastated Nuremberg and aiding the renowned Deadhunter Hermann Wolff in locating his family.

In this virtual reality game, an expansive collection of authentic World War II-inspired weapons awaits you, ranging from explosive grenades to powerful sniper rifles for precision shots, and even melee weapons to fend off the undead if they invade your personal space.
