Silksong Release Crashes Steam, Nintendo eShop & More

At long last, Hollow Knight: Silksong has arrived, yet it seems playing it might prove challenging due to all local video game stores being temporarily unavailable. Unlike games from major franchises such as Grand Theft Auto, Silksong is an eagerly awaited title despite not belonging to a well-known series. The initial Hollow Knight was a massive success and gained considerable acclaim within the indie gaming community, leading developers Team Cherry to expand upon its world, eventually creating what would become the full sequel, Silksong. After years of development and occasional periods out of the public spotlight, fans have eagerly anticipated its release.

Recently, it was officially announced that Silksong would be launched in September. Now, the much-anticipated release date is here, but unfortunately, chaos ensues. Various gaming platforms such as PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam Store, and Nintendo eShop are experiencing problems, causing players not only to fail downloading Silksong, but also other games. Players on Steam have been encountering the same error code E502 L3, suggesting an overload of the server on Steam’s end. If you are facing difficulties, expect some resolution soon, though regular checks throughout the day will be necessary.
