Alright, fellow gamer! Before we dive into the heart of the fight with the Bell Beast, let’s take a quick breather. There’s a handy bench just nearby – grab some health and magic points while you can! Once refreshed, head out from the lair, veer left, and leap down at the end of the room. Keep going to the right, and you’ll stumble upon the bench in the very next room. Relax for a moment before facing the challenge ahead!

As a newcomer, you might not have many tools at your disposal yet to help with the fight, but I’ve got some helpful advice! Head towards the northeastern part of Mosshome and you’ll find a Moss Druid. By gathering berries for this friendly character, you can obtain the Druid’s Eye item, which could prove useful in your journey ahead.

With each instance of damage taken, this artifact provides a touch of Silk, increasing your chances for healing and making tactical use of Silkspear during battle.

To defeat the Bell Beast, it’s crucial to understand its four types of attacks and know how to identify them as well as respond effectively.

This new version conveys essentially the same information but aims for a more natural and conversational tone while also making use of active verbs to improve readability.

Charge

The Bell Beast frequently charges towards you on the ground. To avoid it, just leap over it. If you manage to land jumps on its back, you’ll inflict some harm.

Jump

Instead of leaping above you in an arc, the Bell Beast could potentially leap overhead. You have two options: one, dodge beneath it for a chance to strike its vulnerable underside, or two, retreat to avoid being struck and then make your move once it’s landed.

Burrow

When the Ground Monster, also known as the Bell Beast, emerges, it shoots several bells outwards in an arc. If you find yourself close to this creature, move towards it and engage in combat so that the bells pass overhead. On the other hand, if you are a safe distance away, just leap over the approaching bells.

Falling bells

If you’re feeling less assured, don’t hesitate to employ your Silk for healing. However, do this immediately following an attack by a Bell Beast, as the healing process unexpectedly takes a considerable amount of time. It’s easy to be struck again during the animation, which could end up wasting your silk.
