4 Coronation Street spoilers next week: Tyrone Dobbs faces life-changing injuries amid Becky Swain aftermath

Next week, following the hit-and-run accident, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) will endure severe injuries. Meanwhile, Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) will face repercussions for his actions.

Elsewhere, Vicky Myers (Lisa Swain) insists on getting explanations following the unexpected return of her late spouse, Becky (Amy Cudden).

As a cinephile, I can’t help but feel my own emotions mirroring Theo Silverton’s (played by James Cartwright) mounting rage towards his partner, Todd Grimshaw, brilliantly portrayed by Gareth Pierce.

Furthermore, as Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) concludes her blackmail attempt on secret lovers Carl (Jonathan Howard) and Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine), she steps into a fresh wave of trouble.

Delve into the upcoming Coronation Street plotlines, starting from Monday, September 15th, through to Friday, September 19th, 2025.

4 Coronation Street spoilers next week

1. Dylan Wilson questioned over hit and run as victim Tyrone Dobbs faces life-changing injury

Brody Michaelis (played by Ryan Mulvey) reassured Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) that neither he nor Dylan were responsible for the hit-and-run incident, explaining instead that he had been experiencing a seizure during that particular moment.

Brody reminds Carl that they ditched the car before heading to the hospital.

Carl informs us that upon going to retrieve his car, he found it missing. He posits that perhaps someone took it and, in the process, hit Tyrone.

While at the police station, Dylan undergoes questioning from Officer Jess Heywood (Donnaleigh Bailey). However, with his disclosure that he was at the hospital, is it possible he’ll be let go?

In the hospital, Tyrone stirs awake feeling distressed, quickly informing his wife Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) that he needs a doctor due to not being able to sense movement in his legs.

Kit subtly lets Carl know that he’ll be monitoring him closely, whereas Abi ponders whether the vehicle that struck Tyrone might have belonged to Fiona.

Carl covers, then tells Fiona he had to torch the car.

But when Kit asks what Carl is doing with a known criminal, has he been caught out?

Fiz shares news about Tyrone’s operation with the family. However, Ty expresses his concerns to grandmother Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) that he’s worried about the emotional toll it might have on Fiz. So, how did the surgery turn out for Tyrone?

2. Lisa Swain confronts DI Costello over Becky Swain shock

Costello advises Becky to stay low-profile or they might both face jail time, whereas an eager Lisa storms in ready for a confrontation with Costello, but he declines to engage.

Kit advises Carla Connor (Alison King) that Costello might not be completely trustworthy, and she should be cautious around him, especially since Lisa is involved.

When Carla tells Kit about Becky, he’s stunned.

Lisa bursts into Costello’s office and insists that he discloses all details regarding Becky’s staged demise, threatening to reveal it to the media if he refuses.

Carla encourages Lisa to honestly reveal the truth to Betsy (Sydney Martin), as she anticipates that she will discover it sooner or later, and the impact would be greater if she hears it from Lisa directly.

Lisa refuses, so Carla summons Becky, who breaks down and begs to see Betsy.

Instead, Lisa makes it clear to Becky that she will no longer cause her daughter any further distress, and Becky is then instructed by Carla to leave.

Within the confines of the area, Becky keeps an eye on Betsy alongside Ryan Connor, or more casually put, Ryan Prescott. However, there’s a question hanging in the air: Will Becky unintentionally reveal her true intentions by trying to contact them?

When Roy Cropper (David Neilson) finds Becky at his home, trying to hide her true self, Roy firmly states that he’s aware of her real identity because he recognized her from the hospital.

Lisa explains all to Roy, but Roy is hurt by Carla’s lies.

Shortly after, Lisa advocates for Carla before Roy, clarifying that she didn’t intend to deceive him, rather she was shielding both herself and Betsy.

Will Roy forgive Carla, and what’s next for Becky?

3. Theo Silverton seethes over Todd Grimshaw’s actions in abuse story

Todd and Theo eagerly make their way into the apartment above the corner store, and George Shuttleworth (played by Tony Maudsley) swings by with a few cold brewskies.

Theo scowls when Todd invites George to stay for a drink.

If Todd is unable to attend the meeting prior to the custody hearing, Theo finds it challenging to suppress his growing frustration.

After his meeting, Theo vows to do whatever it takes to secure access to his kids.

He informs Todd that he’s concerned about the upcoming court case, and if his ex-wife Natalie Anderson were to see the condition of their apartment, she might consider it inappropriate for the children.

When Theo is absent, Todd is accompanied by George, Billy Mayhew played by Daniel Brocklebank, and Brian Packham portrayed by Peter Gunn. Together, they begin to tidy up the location.

As they near the end of their task, the group break open the snacks and dance to music.

What happens next as Theo gets home and observes Todd and Billy sharing an embrace? How might he respond?

In simpler terms, Theo’s recent anger has caused him to become both physically and emotionally aggressive towards Todd. This aggression seems to involve aspects of controlling behavior, which is a common element in instances of domestic violence within their relationship.

Will anyone realise what Theo is really like?

As a passionate film enthusiast, I’m proud to say that Coronation Street, a series close to my heart, has been collaborating closely with Galop to authentically depict instances of abuse within relationships involving individuals from the LGBTQ+ community.

4. Tracy Barlow disturbs intruder after making a new blackmail demand over Carl and Abi Webster

Tracy enjoys bringing up the fact that Carl needs to make his upcoming payment, or else she might reveal Carl’s affair with Abi to Kevin Webster (played by Michael Le Vell). A more conversational way of saying this could be: “Tracy likes to remind Carl about the payment he owes and threatens to spill the beans about his affair with Abi, if he doesn’t pay up.

Tracy communicates to Abi that she’s tired of receiving her payment in parts, instead expressing a desire for the remaining amount to be given to her immediately.

When Abi gets an update from Carl, I assure her that I will transfer £500 to her account and emphasize that this settles everything between us.

But as Tracy points out that she’s calling the shots, Abi reckons it’s time to come clean to Kevin.

Carl proposes that we challenge Tracy’s assertions instead. However, upon Tracy’s arrival at the flower shop, who do we find causing chaos, disguised as an intruder wearing a mask?

Is Carl behind it?
