Destiny 2: Renegades

Drawing inspiration from the famed universe of “Star Wars”, the game “Renegades” blends the unique narrative and gameplay style of “Destiny” with elements reminiscent of the legendary science-fiction series. This new adventure continues the Fate Saga within “Destiny 2”. Players will find themselves in a team of rebels, aiming to take on the formidable Cabal faction known as the Barant Imperium, suspected by Drifter to be linked with the enigmatic Nine. Bucking the Vanguard’s authority, players will follow Drifter and join an eclectic cast of new and familiar characters in a journey through the underworld to gain power and influence.

In today’s livestream, a fresh ViDoc titled “Infiltrating the Lawless Frontier” was unveiled, offering a sneak peek at what to expect with the upcoming release, “Renegades.” The spotlight is on the innovative Lawless Frontier game mode, along with new characters and a brand-new social hub known as Tharsis Outpost. Players can anticipate unlocking upgradable abilities exclusive to Renegade in Lawless Frontier, as well as earning new weapons and equipment. Moreover, by engaging with the Notoriety system, players can establish credibility with shady Syndicate groups, thereby expanding their weapon inventory. The novelty doesn’t stop there; “Renegades” also introduces a new weapon category, the Blaster, which bears similarities to those seen in “Star Wars” and has been tailored for “Destiny 2.” These energy-fueled weapons draw ammunition straight from your reserves and come with an exclusive heat management system.

Adventuring across the wild, untamed borders, I, as a Guardian, dive headfirst into perilous assignments, striking a balance between danger and immense profit. These tasks range from smuggling goods, hunting bounties, and orchestrating sabotage. Sometimes, I tackle these missions alone, but often, I team up with my fireteam for added strength. The action unfolds across three distant planets and six maps that echo the legendary Star Wars landscapes. An intriguing aspect, Invasion, gives me the option to accept extra challenges and juicy rewards by welcoming fellow Guardians into the fray. This twist adds an element of tactical unpredictability – the more risk I take on, the greater the rewards I stand to gain.

Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition

The Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition has been released, featuring “The Edge of Fate” and “Renegades” campaigns, the ongoing Desert Perpetual raid, and a future dungeon addition. Pre-ordering “Renegades” via this edition unlocks several unique rewards immediately: the Renegade Leader Exotic ship, the Starside Introduction emblem, an Exotic Sniper Rifle called New Land Beyond with its ornament and catalyst, the Dark Side Legends bundle, the Enneachord Exotic Sparrow, and various other perks. For those who already possess the standard editions of either “Renegades” or the Year of Prophecy, an upgrade to the Ultimate Edition is available, offering access to all exclusive content and bonuses included in the Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition. The Destiny 2: Renegades game will be released on December 2, 2025.

Ash & Iron Update

Today kicks off the significant debut of the Year of Prophecy’s primary upgrade, open to all gamers worldwide. Dubbed “Ash & Iron,” this update sends players back to the Plaguelands for the first time since Destiny’s original release, where they’ll be investigating Maya Sundaresh’s experiments. Players can look forward to collecting thrilling new rewards by engaging in Reclaim, a fresh Fireteam Ops activity designed for three players. Here, Guardians will search for remnants of the Golden Age technology and overcome shifting objectives against both Vex and Cabal forces in a competition against time.

The updated Rewards Pass for The Edge of Fate now provides extra perks to all gamers, featuring 110 tiers of additional benefits. These include a freshly introduced Strand Exotic Pulse Rifle, an armor decoration set, a Legendary coloring shade, and much more!

Starting September 27th, I’m diving into the epic raid of The Desert Perpetual in Destiny 2! This fresh challenge promises brand-new obstacles and sweet loot to collect. Completing this raid will grant me an exclusive Bungie Reward, which they’ll unveil at a later time. Can’t wait to see what I’ll earn!

On October 7, players can anticipate embarking on a fresh Exotic mission that involves battling against both the Vex and Cabal forces led by Maya Sundaresh. This adventure promises to reveal hidden mysteries buried deep within an ancient Warmind bunker.

Festival of the Lost

The annual Festival of the Lost event in Destiny 2 returns on October 21, offering Guardians new weapon holofoils and masks to wear while collecting candy and chasing ghostly prizes. Concluding the first significant update with Ash & Iron is the fresh Call to Arms event, running from November 11 until December 1, accessible to all players. The Call to Arms event challenges participants to battle it out in various Portal activities, gather Seasonal gear, earn unique cosmetics, and more.
