Deliverance 2 is among the best Role-Playing Games ever made. Wearing the appropriate blacksmithing gear while crafting new equipment enhances your experience. However, it’s still a game, meaning that no matter how many adversaries you defeat, you can’t prevent Sigismund’s army from advancing prematurely, correct? Interestingly, thanks to a recently added secret ending from the Legacy of the Forge DLC expansion, you now have the opportunity to do so.
As a dedicated fan, I find myself immersed in the heart of Kuttenberg during my gameplay, where the pivotal mission, “The Lion’s Den,” unfolds around the midpoint. In this mission, I assume the role of Henry, tasked with an intriguing operation: sneaking into Sigismund’s encampment to purloin a formidable cannon.
Currently, the game guides you subtly, requiring you to infiltrate Sigismund’s troops undercover, and then perform a sequence of probes that ultimately result in the transportation of the cannon away from its original location, allowing us to attack it while en route.
Without resorting to deception, a Reddit user found out that by eliminating everyone at the campsite, you can instantly uncover a hidden conclusion right away.
A fresh triumphant message now reads: “You rewrote history! Sigismund suffered a defeat, lost his army and had to return to Hungary in shame. King Wenceslas recognized you as the true heir of Sir Radzig, and from then on, you lived contentedly until 1416, when you embarked on a journey with your father to Kuttenberg.
The update in the game’s documentation also verifies that a Victory screen appears when you defeat a significant number of soldiers stationed at Sigismund’s camp.
As a gamer, I’ve noticed a drastic change in the gameplay when I take down the soldiers around me before a mission commences. Instead of reaping a massive reward, as one might expect, I find myself with a bounty on my head and the mission becoming significantly more challenging due to my actions alerting the guards.
It’s great to observe that the creator, Warhorse Studios, has updated this to boost immersion and provide you with another avenue for success. Essentially, if you’re capable of facing off against an army alone, it seems fitting that a path to victory should be within your grasp.
