New information surrounding the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk is being uncovered. 

Following the tragic shooting of a conservative activist at Utah Valley University, who was just 31 years old, the FBI announced that they had successfully apprehended a suspect. As a dedicated follower, I closely monitor such events and am deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence.

According to a tweet by FBI Director Kash Patel on September 10, the individual responsible for today’s tragic shooting that claimed Charlie Kirk’s life is now in custody. The local and state authorities in Utah are appreciated for their cooperation with the FBI during this investigation.

He added that the agency will provide updates on the case “when able.”

At approximately 20 minutes into a talk given by the co-founder of Turning Point USA at a school in Orem, Utah on September 10th, a shooter, as confirmed by university representative Ellen Treanor, discharged a firearm from a building called the Losee Center, which was around 200 yards away. This information was reported to CNN.

Prior to the FBI confirming the arrest of the alleged gunman, another individual was initially apprehended; however, this person did not correspond with the descriptions of the suspected shooter, as stated by Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason in reports from NBC News.

According to CCTV recordings, the gunman, who discharged a single bullet, was attired entirely in black. The commissioner further stated that it appears this shooting incident may have been a deliberate attack aimed specifically at one person.

Due to the recent event, the college temporarily shut its campus, postponing all lessons until more information is available.

According to what Treanor shared with CNN, we’re requesting those who remain on campus to stay put temporarily while the police can guide them off campus safely.

As a dedicated follower, I’d like to share that during my American Comeback Tour, while hosting my “Prove Me Wrong” event at the college, I unfortunately became the single individual involved in an incident that required immediate medical attention. Shortly after the occurrence, I was transferred to a nearby hospital, as reported by the college’s spokesperson to NBC News.

President Donald Trump confirmed Kirk’s death in a message later that same day. 

As an ardent admirer, I can’t contain my sorrow upon hearing the news that the extraordinary, almost mythical figure, Charlie Kirk, has departed from our world. At 79, his spirit still pulsated with a zest and passion for understanding and championing the heart of America’s youth, a quality that resonated deeply with me. His loss leaves an unfillable void, as he was cherished and revered by many, especially by me. Now, our beloved Charlie Kirk is no longer among us, and the absence is palpable.

Expressing sympathy towards Kirk’s family, including his wife Erika Frantzve and their two children, Trump stated, “Melania and I send our heartfelt sympathies to his beloved wife Erika, and the entire family. Charlie, know that our thoughts are with you.

Following Kirk’s death, both the President of the United States and Turning Point USA were among a few individuals who expressed their tributes in honor of the deceased political activist, acknowledging and commemorating his life and legacy.

Let him find solace in the compassionate embrace of our merciful Savior, who sacrificed for Charlie, as expressed by the youth advocacy group to NBC News on September 10th. Charlie Kirk and his wife Erika Frantzve Kirk announced the birth of their first child, a daughter.

On Instagram, the co-founder of Turning Point USA expressed a warm welcome to the world for their new baby girl, stating how deeply they cherish her.

In simpler terms, the woman who once held the title of Miss Arizona USA enjoyed a beach vacation with her family, which includes their son, born in May 2024.

She posted on Instagram that there’s a thrill in obeying because you eventually understand God’s plan. Regardless, make sure to adjust and reconsider your perspective as needed, but always find happiness in yielding.

Charlie, along with Erika, took a trip to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., accompanied by their child often called “GG” on the internet.

Raise a child on the right path according to their nature, and as they grow older, they’ll stick with it – this was the message in her Instagram post. ‘Only Jesus loves you more than we do, dear GG,’ is another way of expressing that sentiment.

The conservative activist and his wife took GG to a Chicago Cubs baseball game. 

“God, family, country,” he captioned the Instagram post, “and the Cubs.”

Erika and Charlie took their kids to Sesame Street and she reflected on her younger years.

She wrote on Instagram, “Every day with them, I experience again the firsts I thought I’d never get back from my own childhood. It feels like coming full circle in the most genuine way. They make me take slower breaths, pray with a deeper sense of gratitude, and love with a greater intentionality.

Charlie marked the first birthday of his child, taking a moment to ponder the ways becoming a father has affected him.

On Instagram, he expressed that our lives are filled with endless joy and constant laughter thanks to him. He also shared that being a parent is a remarkable blessing, and the experience is even more wonderful as he gets to share this journey with @mrserikakirk.

On Father’s Day, Erika showcased Charlie’s dedication as a husband and father by posting a heartfelt message on Instagram accompanied by a video of him purchasing a new doll for their daughter.

The conservative activist said to his daughter as he picked up a doll from the store shelf, “You really need to act exceptionally well to deserve something like this.” Then, he asked, “Have you been a good girl? Alright then, I’ll buy it for you.

In a Fourth of July video, Erika expressed that the festivities symbolizing freedom evoked her deep affection for Charlie.

On days adorned in fiery red, white, and blue skies, with liberty’s symphony echoing all around, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the man who is my husband. His ardor for our nation never ceases to amaze me. He holds steadfast that the freedom we commemorate today demands unwavering protection each and every day. (Instagram Post)

She went on to say, “Even if you don’t fully concur with his statements, I trust that you can still be moved by the simple fact that he has the ability to express himself. It’s a testament to the freedom we all share – the freedom of speech, worship, safety in our homes, and optimism for the future. This land, though flawed in certain aspects and perfect in others, is bound together by a Constitution that magnificently safeguards these rights.

She added, “That alone is something worth celebrating.”

Charlie posted on Instagram: ‘Happy birthday to our amazing daughter!’ He shared that guiding her towards God, together with @mrserikakirk, is an unparalleled honor. He recommends marriage and parenthood as they bring wonderful changes to one’s life, so do consider it – the experience is truly rewarding.

Charlie and Erika decided to introduce their children to the thrill of a baseball game by taking them to watch the Arizona Diamondbacks play. For Erika, this outing was like stepping back into her own childhood, experiencing the joy through her children’s perspective.
