Back to the Dawn coming to PS5, Switch 2, and Switch in 2026

Clouded Leopard Entertainment, along with Spiral Up Games and developer Metal Head Studios, plans to launch the immersive prison break RPG titled “Back to the Dawn” on PlayStation 5, the new Nintendo Switch model, and original Nintendo Switch in 2026, as per the publisher’s announcement.

Initially released for PC through Steam on November 3, 2023 in Early Access, then fully launched on July 18, 2025 for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and both Steam and Microsoft Store on PC.

In their upcoming releases, the PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and regular Switch, you’ll find advanced localization for subtitles in all languages, plus new Japanese and Chinese voiceovers. Japanese actor Shugo Nakamura voices Thomas the Fox, while Yasuhiro Mamiya lends his voice to Bob the Panther. More cast members will be unveiled soon.
