
In honor of Super Mario Bros.’ 40th anniversary, Nintendo is releasing a combined edition titled Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2. This double pack will launch on October 2nd exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Each game can be bought individually for $39.99, or you can opt for a bundle (physical or digital) priced at $69.99.
With the Switch 2, gamers will be able to enjoy both titles in stunning 4K resolution, even though the original Switch only supports 1080p. These enhanced versions also come with additional Storybook Chapters, upgraded menus and UIs, amiibo support, and a new Assist Mode designed to aid novice players by providing extra health and fall recovery options.
As an avid gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the game offers an immersive Soundtrack Mode, allowing you to savor the breathtaking orchestral scores right within the game. Unlike my beloved Super Mario 3D All-Stars, these tunes aren’t temporally confined (for now, at least).
