Coronation Street reveals who knocked down Tyrone Dobbs in ITVX episode amid devastating injury

*Warning: Spoilers for Monday 15th September’s episode of Coronation Street, available now on ITVX.*

Following the hit-and-run incident on Monday, September 15th, 2025, which sent Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) to the hospital, two significant events unfolded in Coronation Street.

Last week, Tyrone was hit by a stolen car. Betsy Swain, who was very upset, saw the whole thing. (Betsy Swain was played by Sydney Martin).

On the day the incident occurred, teenagers Dylan Wilson, played by Liam McCheyne, and Brody Michaelis, played by Ryan Mulvey, stole a car.

During questioning at the police station, Dylan’s friend, Brody, tells Carl Webster, the man behind the car scam, that neither he nor Dylan were involved. Brody explains he was having a seizure when the incident occurred.

Brody claims he and Dylan left the car before heading to the hospital. Carl says the car was already missing when he went to get it, meaning someone else must have taken it and hit Tyrone.

As Dylan reveals he was at the hospital, will the police confirm his alibi?

Tyrone wakes up in the hospital and tells his wife, Fiz, that he’s lost feeling in his legs. Doctors later confirm he’s suffered a spinal injury.

Tests revealed Tyrone has a blood clot putting pressure on his spinal cord, and he’s scheduled for surgery to correct the problem.

The surgery involved some risk, and doctors aren’t sure yet if there’s been lasting damage, so Tyrone has a lengthy recovery ahead of him.

As Tyrone tries to understand who would harm him, we see a flashback revealing the events and the person responsible.

Coronation Street is working with Spinal Injuries Association on Tyrone’s story.
