Square Enix describes these new features as making the game progress more smoothly, but players used to simply call them cheats.
When Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade comes to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S next January, players can expect that experience.
These new features include toggles for:
- Infinite HP and MP
- Deal 9,999 damage on all of your attacks
- Infinite items
These simpler options will make the game’s combat much too easy. Their addition has already sparked debate among players, as many believe they remove too much of the challenge from an important part of the game.
Ultimately, everyone should enjoy games however they want, especially those they’ve purchased themselves. If you’re playing Remake Intergrade for its story and visuals, these features could definitely enhance your experience.
However, it’s worth noting that these features haven’t been announced for the PS5 version of the game yet. This could mean PlayStation players might get a version that isn’t quite as advanced as the one on other platforms, despite the game’s high ratings.
We’ve contacted Square Enix to learn more and will share any new information we receive in this article.
Are these features something you’d be interested in trying? Do you think they might come to the PS5 version in the future? Share your thoughts in the comments!
