Okay, so SUNSOFT just announced they’re completely remaking *Ripple Island* – the classic adventure game from ’88! It’s called *Ripple Island: Kyle and Cal’s Restaurant* and it looks fully 3D. I’m excited because it’s coming to the Switch 2 and Steam on November 27th. It’ll cost around 4,378 yen, and the best part? It’s going to have a ton of language options – English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and both Traditional and Simplified Chinese!

Team up with the unique animals of Ripple Island to serve up delicious dishes!

To cook any dish, you first need to gather ingredients.

Grow your own veggies, fish for dinner, and gather fresh eggs… however you can get ingredients, it’s time to cook up something delicious!

Story

Upon an unknown sea floats an unknown island: Ripple Island.

The island thrived with natural beauty and offered a wealth of fresh, flavorful ingredients, attracting many talented cooks.

Then one day, a question popped into the head of the island’s king, Dotella:

“What is the most delicious dish on this island?”

To find the answer, King Dotella issued a proclamation to all the chefs on the island:

The island is hosting a cooking competition to find the best chef! The winner will receive a fantastic prize for creating the most delicious dish.

This proclamation reached the ears of Kyle, a chef living on the outskirts of the island.

Kyle had always wanted to become famous, so when he heard about the tournament, he quickly prepared and headed to the castle where it was taking place.
