Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Cori Broadus Shares Health Update on Her Baby

It looks like Snoop Dogg‘s granddaughter Codi has got his spirit.

Cori Broadus, the rapper’s daughter, says her baby girl, born prematurely in February, is surprisingly strong and energetic. Broadus herself gave birth after six months of pregnancy.

Cori, who is engaged to Wayne Deuce and shares her daughter Codi with him, told Us Weekly in a September 16 interview that her daughter is incredibly resilient and has a lot of strength and personality.

The 26-year-old mother shared that doctors and nurses in the NICU frequently tell her that her baby is very aware and responsive. They often say things like, ‘She’s bright, she’s alert, and she clearly knows what’s happening around her – she can hear and see everything.’

Cori added of her daughter, “That girl is just a sweet little firecracker.”

Let me tell you, those first few weeks with Codi were a real emotional ride for me. Honestly, the NICU is just… a whole different world. It’s an experience unlike anything else, and it really changes you.

It’s definitely a challenging situation, but the staff’s support has been incredible,” Cori explained. “They always reassured me when I worried about Codi, telling me, ‘There’s no need to apologize – this is perfectly normal. We’d be concerned if you *weren’t* upset.’

Cori, who experienced a stroke when she was just 24, jokes that she’s seen a lot of life. Because of everything she’s been through, she sees her baby, Codi, as a wonderful and unexpected blessing.

After being told I couldn’t have children, I’m overjoyed to share that I have a daughter,” said the founder of the Choc Factory. “She’s absolutely beautiful, and I adore her.”

Cori explained that everyone’s path is unique. Just like every baby’s journey home is a little different, so are all of our individual experiences.

Honestly, seeing them together just warms my heart! It’s clear they have so much love and support around them, which is amazing. Snoop actually said it best in an interview – he explained they really focus on keeping the love going *all* the time, every single day. It’s just…beautiful to see!
