Arnold Schwarzenegger put down the cookie for a heartwarming reflection.

Following the wedding of Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his ex-wife Maria Shriver, guest Rob Lowe revealed details about a speech given by Arnold Schwarzenegger at the event.

He remembered Arnold saying on *Jimmy Kimmel Live* on September 17th, “It’s good to see everybody here. It’s a wonderful day. And Patrick is doing amazing work on *The White Lotus*. “

During a speech at the wedding, Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed he had watched all of his son Patrick’s movies. Among the guests enjoying the celebration were Patrick’s *White Lotus* co-stars Jason Isaacs, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola, along with Sam’s girlfriend Iris Apatow, Taylor Lautner, and Olivia Jade, as well as Patrick’s son, John Owen Lowe.

Being there for Patrick and Abby’s celebration – a special occasion that happened in Utah over Labor Day weekend – meant a lot to the Parks and Recreation actor.

He told Jimmy Kimmel that he’s known Patrick since he was a child. He described the wedding as beautiful and mentioned he’s now at the age where all his children’s friends are tying the knot.

Patrick, 31, and Abby, 28, had a beautiful wedding ceremony with stunning views of Lake Coeur d’Alene and the Rocky Mountains. The celebration continued with a lively three-day party for their guests.

The celebration kicked off with a small rehearsal dinner for family and the wedding party on Thursday. The next day, they hosted a Western-themed party to welcome guests. The bride, sporting cowboy boots and a hat, told *Vogue* that the Western night was a completely different and incredibly fun atmosphere, and one of her favorite parts of the whole weekend.

Oh my gosh, Abby looked absolutely breathtaking! Patrick was the perfect match, all suave in a black leather coat and this amazing bolo tie. But Abby… wow. She wore this incredible, fitted white dress, and it had this gorgeous train! And get this – her dad, Greg Champion, *walked her down the aisle* and then actually *officiated the ceremony*! It was the most perfect, personal touch ever. I seriously couldn’t take my eyes off of her.

Looking back on the weekend, she said it felt like it went by in a flash and she’s thrilled to begin this new phase of her life with Patrick.
