Josh Allen Reveals the One Actor He’d Want to Play Him in a Movie

Josh Allen has a marvelous idea for a future movie. 

The Buffalo Bills quarterback shared who he’d choose to portray him in a movie about his life, and it’s someone who looks a bit like him.

Josh mentioned Chris Pratt on the September 17th episode of *Boardroom Talks*, but jokingly added that he thinks Pratt is getting a bit too old.

The 29-year-old, named MVP for the 2024 NFL season, isn’t interested in having a movie made about his life right now. He still believes he can reach even greater success in his football career.

Josh said he’s always taught to concentrate on what’s happening next, and he applies that to his life. He believes in looking forward and feeling optimistic about the future.

As for one area where he’s already got the best under his belt? His love life. 

Josh has said that marrying Hailee Steinfeld in May was the biggest decision of his life.

As he put it during a June 10 NFL press conference, “I made the right one.”

Josh explained that Hailee simplifies things for him, so he doesn’t worry about other complications.

He might even like Hailee Steinfeld, the actress from *Hawkeye*, to portray herself in a movie about his life. Josh has said he was moved to tears watching his wife in the 2025 horror film *Sinners*.

He shared on the September 2nd episode of HBO’s *Hard Knocks* that he was incredibly proud of her, and admitted it still moved him to think about what she accomplished. He described it as a really special experience.

Josh said he wants to support her however he can, and he was thrilled she had her moment to really stand out.

After Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen ended his relationship with Brittany Williams, he was seen having dinner in New York City with actress Hailee Steinfeld.

Two months later, the duo confirmed their relationship while kissing on vacation in Mexico. 

Almost a year after people started speculating they were dating, the athlete and actress recently made a public appearance on social media. They helped the athlete’s sister, Nicala Madden, reveal whether she was having a boy or a girl in a sweet TikTok video.

 

During Paris Fashion Week, the actress from *The Edge of Seventeen* and an NFL player were seen on a date, both wearing similar khaki-colored clothes.

The NFL player confirmed his relationship with his partner by sharing a photo of them together in front of the Eiffel Tower on Instagram on July 23rd.

Posted in that same photo dump, the “Starving” singer squeezed in for a photo with Josh’s family. 

Reporter Kay Adams, on her show *Up & Adams*, playfully nicknamed him “Mr. Hard Launch.” When asked about his relationship with Hailee, he shyly responded, “We love love.”

Hailee and Josh announced their engagement on Instagram on November 29th with a photo of Josh proposing. The Oscar-nominated actress happily accepted, leaning in for a kiss. They revealed they got engaged on November 22, 2024.

 

Josh and Hailee quickly became a public couple, appearing together on the red carpet at the NFL Honors just months after getting engaged. While accepting his MVP award, Josh publicly acknowledged Hailee with a touching message.

He told her she was his constant support and closest friend, adding that he wouldn’t have achieved this moment without her.
